There is a look on the Sam's face, a very odd look. His eyebrows drawn together, crinkled up in the middle, with tiny white lines around the corners of his mouth. His hair is standing on end from the vast number of times he's run his hand through it, and there are little crescent shaped marks on his knuckles from where he's chewed on them absently. And there was a weary sag in his shoulders.
It was a look that had plagued Sam far too often lately; the look of a boy on a futile quest to save his brother.
