Nick strolled into the DNA lab. "Hey G, I need you to match these to samples." He said, holding a case file in one hand and two cotton swabs in his other. Giving the DNA tech a small smile as Greg turned around, stopping whatever work he was doing.

"Alrighty." Greg answered, ignoring his other work as he took the two swabs and began working on them. As he had once said, when it's important to Nick here, he will push a little further, that also meant he usual ignored his other work when his favorite CSI came with some work for him. The only times he didn't do that was when Grissom came with work for him to do. Grissom was terrifying and always made him nervous.

"How long is it going to take?" Nick asked as he watched Greg's cute, firm ass while the younger man worked on the swabs, trying to get an answer to see if the two DNA samples matched. He pulled out a chair and sat down, arms resting across each other on top of the table. It was the chair he himself had rolled into the DNA lab, and it was the chair he always used when he sat in the lab watching Greg work. He loved watching the younger man work.

Greg looked over his shoulders for a second, "give me some minutes, Nicky." He replied before returning to his work.

A few minutes went by and as they waited for the results Greg grabbed his own chair and rolled it over to the printer and sat down. He looked at Nick and smiled. "So what's with the case?" He asked as the ever so curious lab rat he was. Another few minutes went by as Nick explained the case and when he finished his explanation the printer began printing. Greg turned around, grabbed the paper and looked at it.

The lab rat stood up from his chair and gave the results to the Texan. Nick looked over the paper, gave Greg a his famous Texan smile as he handed the paper back to Greg, leaned in closer and gave the younger man a peck on the cheek before he said his thanks and walked back out of the DNA lab.
