"I have these strange dreams sometimes…"
"Do you now?"
The young boy nodded, his wild raven hair covering his eyes. "It's on days where I'm hurt… where something bad has happened…"
"What happens in these dreams of yours?"
The boy frowned, his bottom lip jutting out slightly. "I go to a train station… there's lots of trains there… but they never move… it's so white there… and peaceful…"
The man hummed but stayed silent, letting the boy continue.
"In these dreams… I'll hear the whistle blow… I'll look around, trying to find which train is about to take off, to see if I can board it… or something…"
"And do you; board the train I mean?"
The boy shook his head and looked up at the dreary sky, the clouds moved slowly, as if they couldn't care enough to float around. "A man always stops me… it's a strange man…"
"And what does this man look like?"
The boy hummed and closed his eyes as he laid his head on the grass. "He has a long white beard, and the strangest blue eyes… they almost seem to… twinkle…" the boy frowned, not noticing the man next to him stiffen. "He tells me strange things…"
The man smiled at him and played with a lock of the boy's silky raven hair. "And what does he tell you?"
"He tells me stories… of a little boy in an orphanage all alone… of a young girl who was caught up in a battle of fools… of an older brother who couldn't care for his family until it was too late…" the boy frowned as his eyes filled with sorrow. "He cries sometimes… he cries and tells me all these funny things… and while I always remember them when I awake… I never know why he tells me to begin with…"
Emerald eyes locked onto ruby red.
"Why does he visit me Tom? Why does he tell me these strange things?" the boy looked away, his eyes glazed. "He told me his name was Albus…" the boy looked up at the man in front of him and frowned.
"Who's Albus Tom?"
Tom pulled the boy close, his eyes burning with rage.
"No one Harry."
He smiled and kissed the young boy's brow.
"They're dreams of no one."
A/N: An odd little idea that popped into my head as I write the next chapter of O.S.A.B.
I hope you all enjoy.
