"Here."

Reigen lifted an eyebrow as a stack of papers with scribbles on them were dumped onto his desk. The wind it created knocked a few papers off the already cluttered space, and he let out a sigh, looking up at the culprit for this new mess and wondering why he put up with these shenanigans. "Ritsu, I know you don't have a good grasp on manners when it comes to me, but messing up someone's desk while they're working... Isn't usually considered polite."

Ritsu let out a huff and rolled his eyes, "You weren't working, I saw you on buzzfeed-"

"-It's called research you little-"

"-and it's not a mess. They're spirit tags."

Reigen paused, completely thrown off from his previous anger. "Tags?"

"Yeah, you know. To ward off evil or... Whatever..." Ritsu crossed his arms in a vague attempt at disguising how clearly uncomfortable he was, but with the way he was avoiding eye contact, it was plain as day.

"For like... Exorcising?" Reigen raised both eyebrows, now even more confused. "Why would-"

"Don't read anything into it, alright? It's just that if you die, Shigeo will be upset. I happened to find some tags that actually work, and figured you could use them. You still take jobs without my brother around, don't you?"

"Yeah I do, but..." Reigen was about to assert the fact that he didn't need spirit tags since he was a psychic himself, but then he looked back at Ritsu. The boy was clearly uncomfortable, and he was here when Mob wasn't, meaning that he didn't have to be here at all.

Reigen looked to the pile of tags again, well over fifty of the little pieces of paper and apparently all verified. The con knew from experience that finding things like this that actually worked was pretty hit or miss, so to say they all actually worked would have taken a lot of time and effort. Ritsu had done something nice for him...

Reigen swallowed any kind of sassy remark and gave a genuine smile. "Thanks. I'll be sure to keep a few on me."

Ritsu seemed satisfied with the answer, nodding to himself. "Good, I- yeah, good." Ritsu nodded again, looking like a weight had been lifted. He seemed to remember himself in that moment and sent a glare to Reigen that didn't seem to have as much heat behind it as it usually did. "Just remember, if you die, I'll exorcise your ghost myself."

Reigen blinked, then burst out with a laugh. He stood from his chair, still chuckling as he moved around the desk and ruffled Ritsu's hair, ignoring the indignant squawk. "Yeah, sure thing kid. Sure thing."
