1Jacob: the necessity
okay so I am so a Jacob hater, I refuse to read fan-fiction with Bella and Jake but we have to admit he is a very essential part of the books, and though we may hate him, without him in the book Edward and Bella wouldn't be where they are. This is just a short summary to help those to don't understand, to understand Jacob's important part in Twilight.
Okay so Jacob is introduced in Twilight, and we all know he likes Bella but she is completely oblivious. In New Moon, Jacob and Bella's relationship forms and expands. This is because, as we all know Edward left. It isn't until Eclipse that Bella realizes she loves Jacob as well. Though she does realize she loves Edward more, that love is still shared.
Without Jacob, Edward wouldn't have realized how close he was to losing her for forever. If it wasn't for Jacob, Edward would not have ever agreed to change Bella, he realizes that if he were to leave she would be able to eventually move on and that he could not. Also Edward would never have really realized how much Bella truly loves him because he cant read her mind he was never really sure. Jacob also made Bella's future disappear and without that she would've never had to have gone to Italy to save Edward and she and Edward wouldn't have gotten back together.
Over the course of the three books, Bella and Edward's characters mature as well as their love. Most of it is contributed to time and the events they went through but without Jacob they wouldn't have gotten through many of them.
A/N thanx guys, R&R, this was a discussion I had with one of my twilight friends because she hates Jacob more than me, but no matter how much you hate him you have to understand he is very essential to the story.
