So, this might be the third time I've restarted this story. Mainly because I was never happy with how they turned out, but, this might be different since I feel the most confident with this one, I've rewritten this chapter multiple times but this was the one I was most satisfied with,

I think part of the problem why I restarted this story so many timed is because I never thought much of the beginning, all of the good parts were in the middle and I just skipped to those parts, but now I've at least planned this one, so let's hope the third time really is a charm.

Anyway, to new readers to this story, this essentially a super hero story of the Loud House, if you want to know, it's basically a mix of Super Sentai, Marvel and D.C. comics, and multiple T.V. shows, I don't actually put them all together, I just carry on certain ideas and elements and add my own twists,

A fair warning though that there will a few themes that people may be uncomfortable with like death, killing, high school drama, and if you are familiar with the fandom, that thing, but don't worry, it's not a main plot element, you'll barely notice it (that may or may not be true).

English is also not my first language so expect a few grammatical errors,

Now about the story, it takes place into the near future from the show, so basically some will be a year older because their birthdays have passed while the others' are yet to come. This story will mainly focus on Lincoln, four other characters and the villains of the story, I intentionally put few descriptions about enemies past so they can be mysterious and all that jazz.

And now to begin the story, Loud House is owned by Nickelodeon.

World on His Shoulders

"What do I want to be?" A young boy questioned. He stood in front of the whole class, all of his classmates staring at him, he looked to his teacher

"Yes, Lincoln. What do you want to be when you grow up?" The teacher repeated, she sat on her desk, waiting for the white haired boy's answer

He looked down at the ground to avoid their gazes. Yet, even without seeing them, Lincoln still felt them staring at him, and it pressured him to answer, "I... I don't know, Ms. Johnson" was it getting hotter? That can't be right, the weather is usually cold at this time of the year.

The teachers eyes burrowed, the smile on her face falling, "You don't know?" She said with faint shock, "Are you sure? I remember Principal Huggins telling me that you made a wonderful comic book before." Agnes recalled, "Don't you want to be an artist? A writer even?" She suggested.

"I think so... Yes... Maybe, I-I still don't know..." He stuttered, before it was his turn to go up front, the task seemed easy to him, just stand in the front, say you want to make future Ace Savvy comics and explain why, but he started doubting that idea the moment he stood up, is that really what he wanted to be? Even if she suggested the same exact idea, yet it did nothing to reassure him.

"Oh... Well, why don't you just sit down and I'll call you again once your ready," The boy obliged and slowly walked back to his seat, his eyes looked at anything or anywhere but his classmates, all of them had plans of what they wanted to be, what they wanted do,

All but him...

Somewhere... in Space.

In the empty and devoid area of space, a glowing blue light sparked out of nowhere. The light started to expand, growing larger and larger, until a giant alien-like ship appeared from the light. Slowly moving forward, along with smaller yet similar ships following the bigger vessel,

Inside the vessel, a man walked into the dark red halls, he was clad in silver armor, covering his whole body, his whole head was covered by a cylindrical silver helmet, with short horns at the sides, in front of the helmet were two holes, that revealed his glowing red eyes, and on his back was a dark red tattered cape

The armored man entered an occupied room with occupants in different areas of the room, the room had a curved shape, where in the walls were mostly of windows, with the ciew displaying numerous amounts of stars and a familiar blue and green planet.

"Where are we?", The armored man said, his voice dark and menacing, as he walked to a figure who was occupied on a table, he examined papers with illustrations of machineries and numerous equations, he was completely oblivious to the presence of the terrifying man as he began to mumble presumably scientific terms.

"Xypnois!", The armored man said, scaring the figure and causing him to scatter his papers in surprise, he turned around and looked at the man in fear. "Where are we?" He asked again

"Apologies, sir! O-our computers have told us that we are currently on Earth-1216," Xypnois said in fear. "Our readings also say that the gem that we need is close by, I have already sent scouts to retrieve the gem.", The alien scientist said, his voice gaining confidence as he reported his orders.

"This gem... It is the last one we need, right?", The leader said, gaining a nod from the scientist, "I trust that you will not fail me, make sure you bring the other gems along, you did say that the closer they are to one another, the more energy they give out, correct?"

"Yes, sir!" He shouted, but quickly lowered his voice, "Your request will be followed," Xypnois said, as he left the room to give out the supposed order.

The man stayed in the room and looked outside the window, he saw the Earth, one of many he has seen, each of them ending with the fate, he never once entirely loss,

And that's because he always has a plan.

"Are you alright, Lincoln?", a boy with glasses questioned, as he and a white haired boy entered the school cafeteria, which was filled with kids chatting and eating.

"Huh? Yeah, I'm alright Clyde. Why'd you ask?" Lincoln replied, as he and his best friend sat down at their usual table.

"It's just that awhile ago, you kinda froze up there, you looked like in a you were in a bad spot," Clyde said, recalling recent events.

"Yeah, I was, but it's only because I'm not really sure of what I want to do, you know?"

"I thought you wanted to make Ace Savvy comics?"

"I do... but sometimes I feel like it's not enough..." Lincoln admitted, every word getting sadder and sadder.

"Not enough?!", Clyde sat up shouting, instantly receiving stares from others, he quickly sat down and awkwardly coughed, "What do you mean not enough? Continuing Ace Savvy's legacy would be the greatest thing in the entire world!"

"Im not, so sure about that," Lincoln doubted, "I mean, compared to my sisters and what they can do, and what they have planned, I've got nothing that's even comparable to what they have." Lincoln complained,

"Lincoln," Clyde said seriously, looking propping his elbows on the table and looking at Lincoln in the eye, as would a therapist to his patient, "... are you depressed?"

"...What? No! don't be crazy, Clyde." Lincoln said annoyed, "...It's not that, it's just that I'm not so sure about what I want to do, this is a pretty big deal, Clyde."

"Lincoln... you're twelve." Clyde stated, an unamused look on his face, "You're too young too be worrying about this."

"Yeah... but still."

"Don't worry bud," Clyde reassured, putting his arm around Lincoln's shoulder, "You've got all the time in the world, take your time to think this through and just know I'll be with you every step off the way!"

"Thanks, Clyde," Lincoln said, as cliche as it was, it meant a lot to him. "I'm glad to have a friend like you..." The white haired boy said with the utmost sincerity.

Later, The school day ended and all the kids went home with immeasurable excitement, Lincoln and Clyde walked on the usual street leading to their homes. At the moment, they were currently walking beside the town's local forest. Lincoln looked down at his feet as he walked, oblivious to Clyde's one-sided conversation,

'What do I really want to be?' Lincoln had been asking himself that question the whole day, the question was seemingly stuck on his mind and had distracted him throughout the day, 'Why does that question bother me so much?! I know I want a job that's at least related to comic books, but I feel that's not enough...'

The boy looked at his friend, he was still talking, but Lincoln didn't hear anything coming from his mouth, 'Clyde's right, I'm just twelve, I should be focused on other things... like girls or my social life... But I wish there's at least something that can help reassure me about this problem...'

"Lincoln..." someone whispered, The boy slowed down his pace, his best friend doing the same, but still continued the one-sided conversation nonetheless.

'Clyde said that, right? Or am I going cra-' "Lincoln..." he heard again. He looked to Clyde who still seemed unaware of the voice,

"-There's also this new amusement park that just opened near the Royal Woods beach, me and my dads are planning to go there this Saturday. Oh! You guys should come wi-" the boy was cut off when Lincoln held out his arm in front of him, both of them stopping on the sidewalk.

"Did you hear that?" Lincoln asked, as he searched for the source of the unknown voice,

"Hear what? I'm pretty sure I was the only one talking." Clyde stated.

"I heard someone call my name..."

"Really? I didn't hear anything, maybe your just hearing things."

"Maybe, I guess it was nothi-"

"Come here..." The same voice whispered, this time it came from the forest.

"There it is! I just heard it again!" Lincoln said, pointing towards the forest,

"Lincoln... I didn't hear anything, there's not-" Clyde looked at Lincoln confused,

"I'm telling you Clyde! Someone's calling me! It's coming from the forest!" A panicked Lincoln said,

"Okay, let's say someone is calling you, we should just walk away and tell local authorities so they can deal with- aaaand you're going in the forest."

"Lincoln!" Clyde shouted as he followed his best friend, "Don't you know how dangerous this could be?"

"Clyde, come on, someone out here is calling me, what if it's just someone we know? What if that person is hurt?" He said, going deeper into the forest,

"What if the person isn't?!" Clyde said in disbelief "What if that person wants to hurt us?"

"Who would want to hurt us? Still, someone might be hurt." Lincoln repeated, going deeper in the forest, "I'm willing to take that cha- Whoa..."

"What?" Clyde asked, he followed his friend's eye and "Whoa!"

Both Lincoln and Clyde stared at a very small crater in the ground, inside was a small glowing red rock, it looked old and was sunk into the dirt, it was barely noticeable if it weren't for it's faint glow.

"What is that?" Clyde asked as he turned to Lincoln,

"I don't know," Lincoln said, "I think it's some kind of gem."

"What's it doing out here?" Clyde asked, the gem started to shift lightly and started to magically lift into the air,

"I-It's floating!" Lincoln said as he stared at the gem in disbelief, before the two boys could do anything else, they heard the bushes rustling behind them. Lincoln and Clyde turned around and saw a tall and dark figure behind the bushes, scaring both of them.

"Uh, H-Hi. Is t-this yours?" Lincoln stuttered as he pointed at the floating gem, the figure took a few steps closer, and the two boys were surprised to see that the figure had glowing yellow

Menacing yellow eyes...

"W-what the..." Lincoln's eyes widened as he saw the what the person looked like, the figure had a scrawny form, to the point where you can see the outlines of it's bones, it also had a dark green skin that contrasted it's lifeless eyes, it's mouth was small and looked like it was torn open, and on top of his head was a gold crown around his forehead that had a tip going downward in the middle.

"What are you? A-are you okay, sir?" Clyde asked, as the figure stalked towards them, his right arm morphing into a black blade.

"Clyde..." Both boys saw the creature raise it's bladed arm, his glowing eyes staring right at them, he held it in the air for a second, right before swiping the sword at them, "Duck!"

The two friends dodged the powerful swing from the monster and ran into forest behind him, screaming as they ran, leaving the alien behind with along with the red gem that was nowhere to be found.

The two boys continued to scream as they ran deeper into the forest, narrowly avoiding the trees and their large roots,

"I told you this was a bad idea!" Clyde shouted, just as he jumped over a large root,

"I know!" Lincoln said as he ducked under a branch "I think we lost... It," Lincoln stated just as they heard an inhuman screech, they looked behind them and saw the creature running towards them with great speed,

"Dang it!" The two said in unison.

Lincoln looked forward once again and found the gem floating directly in front of him, the boy screamed in surprise not noticing a tree's root under him, his foot hooked onto the root and he lost his balance, he rolled on the grass and stopped when he hit a tree,

Lincoln laid on his back in a complete daze, his back was sore and painful, he painfully got up only to feel a pressure on his chest, and was pinned to the ground by the monster's foot, the pressure of it's foot started to hurt his chest and his breathing started to shorten,

Lincoln looked up at the creature and saw it's menacing eyes staring back at him, he started to whimper as the monster pointed his bladed hand at him, the boy frantically looked around for anything to help him, he saw Clyde running towards him, but he was too far, he looked to his left and saw the red gem, too shocked to realize it glowing brighter than before,

He panicked and picked up the red gem and held it between himself and the monster, "Here! T-take it, please!" The boy begged but the monster started to pull back the blade, preparing the killing blow, "D-don't kill me, please! I'm sorry, just take it please!" His breath had become shallow and it was as if time slowed.

The boy noticed every detail, he saw Clyde running towards him, the falling leaves, the blade pointed at him, and the gem glowing so brightly it could blind him. The gem suddenly shot out a red beam at the creature, hitting it before the creature before it could strike,

A large gaping hole in it's chest stopped the creature from stabbing the boy, The two boys looked at the creature in shock, and stared as it slowly disintegrated into ashes,

"W-what..." Lincoln said, eyes as wide as plates, "I-I didn't mean to do... t-that... I didn't mean to kill it..." Lincoln watched as from the ashes of the creature rose a white light, spooking the boy even more, the boy saw it float in place before it flew into the sky and into the unknown,

"Lincoln!" Clyde shouted as he reached his best friend, who was starting to panic as his breathing became fast and ragged, "What happened?!" The boy put his hand on his friend's shoulder in an effort to calm him.

"I-I..." Lincoln sputtered, is it normal to suddenly forget how to breath? Or did my lungs just shut down? I probably deserve it for killing someone... or whatever that thing was.

"Breath, Lincoln! Breath!" Clyde said, not wanting the situation to get worst, "Calm down, Lincoln... It's ok, we're safe... just breath" He reassured.

Lincoln did as so, and his lungs began to fill with air once again, "I just killed that guy Clyde..." He said, his voice as low as a whisper.

"No you didn't! It was an accident, I doubt we knew that the rock could shoot lasers." He reassured

"Still, I accidentally killed someone, dude. It's... wrong..."

"It's okay, it probably wasn't even a person, just some weird mutant animal ."

"Come on, Clyde. What animal can form a blade out of it's hand!" Lincoln shouted. Humans couldn't do that either, which made the creatures origin more mysterious.

"Okay, okay, maybe it was something else, but still, we don't actually know what it is."

Clyde was responded with silence from Lincoln, who only looked down at the ashes of the fallen creature,

"Look, let's just go home, Linc, let's forget this thing ever happened," Lincoln still didn't respond, "let's just go back home." Clyde said as he offered his hand.

Lincoln didn't know what to do, he couldn't just forget this, he just ended a life, that's not easy to forget, but come to think it, how many insects has he killed, how many ants he's stepped on, how many spiders has he sprayed with bug spray. Too many to count, so why is this any different?

Choosing to ignore the question, The boy took his best friend's hand.

"You okay, buddy?" Clyde asked with concern as he helped his friend up. Lincoln looked at the weird rock in his hand, staring at it with fear, and hid it in his pocket

"Yeah, let's just get out of here..." Lincoln walked forward, and into the more open part of the forest, he can already see the end of the forest not too far away. "What was that weird ball of light?" Lincoln asked, as they continued on the clear path,

"What, light? There was no light..." Clyde said as he raised an eyebrow.

"The one that flew up there?" Lincoln said as he pointed at the sky.

"You mean the sun?" Clyde asked more confused than ever.

"No! Not that! The light that came from the ashes, from the monster I hit-" 'THUNK' was heard as Lincoln bumped into something big, he didn't see any tree ahead of him, so what did he hit?, he looked up rubbing his head, and found the tree in front of him was still meters away, "What?"

"Why?" Clyde asked with concern as his friend suddenly fell to the ground.

"I think I just hit something," the white haired boy said as he stood.

"Are you sure? There's nothing there." Clyde pointed out, "Are you sure you're alright? I think you might be going crazy"

"No, I'm not going crazy, Clyde." Lincoln reached out his hand, and he felt a hard and weirdly textured surface, like mesh, maybe? He circled around the invisible object with his hand guiding him as he slid around it, it's surface smooth as glass.

He continued doing so until he felt a gap, like what you would find between a door and a wall,

"I think there's a door here," Lincoln said as he turned to Clyde,

"Maybe, you should knock?" Clyde suggested, and Lincoln did so.

his vision started to shift. Wait, no... the object started to shift slightly and he stepped back as he saw something descend at an angle,

"Woah." The two boys said as they realized what the weird object was

A spaceship, an alien spaceship, and they were standing right in front of it's door, it had a dark outer color and it had weird symmetrical holes around the surface.

"Is that a spaceship?" Clyde asked as he looked at inside it, from what he could see, the ship was filled with monitors and had a dim red light inside,

"Let's find out." Lincoln said as he reluctantly stepped on the ramp and got onto the dark ship, he was actually entering an alien ship!

The two boys were awestruck by the technology that was far more advanced than anything they could find on earth. The buttons had multiple writings that had markings they couldn't understand and the red light made the ship look scary and menacing.

"What's that?" Clyde asked as he pointed at a small glass dome on a long tubular surface, Lincoln looked at the dome and saw a collection of four colored gems inside the dome, each gem had it's own color of Yellow, Blue, Purple, and Green.

"They look like this rock!" Lincoln pointed out, as he held out the aforementioned rock, and it glowed once more, Lincoln immediately dropped the glowing object, scared of what it might do, but instead it did nothing, in fact, it's glow looked calmer, less hostile, as if it were calling out to someone, or something

The two noticed that the other rocks started glowing their respective colors and even began to shake lightly, "I think they're supposed to be together." Clyde suggested.

Lincoln slowly picked up the red gem and hesitantly moved towards the dome, as he did so, all five gems started to glow brighter and the red gem began to feel warmer than before, the boy took a few more steps forward and when he was close enough, the red gem shot another beam at the glass, instantly shattering it.

The two screamed in surprise as they covered their to block the flying shards of glass "Uh, oh" Lincoln exclaimed,

The gems slowly lifted up from their positions and lightly floated in the air. each one glowing even brighter, "Uh, oh" Clyde repeated and in a blink of an eye all four of the gems flew away, leaving small holes as they blasted through the ship, with the red one staying in Lincoln's hand.

In a panic, the two boys ran out of the ship and watched as the gems flew into different directions, leaving colored flashes as they left,

"What is happening?" Lincoln said, as the gems disappeared from the sight, seconds later, the two heard heard footsteps approaching, along with familiar groans and screeches,

"Dude, I think we have to get out of here!" Clyde said as he ran, Lincoln followed closely behind, in fear of more of the creatures going after them.

The two eventually parted ways when they reached Clyde's house and the lone Loud boy was left to walk alone while turning around every now and then out of fear and growing paranoia. The boy eventually reached his house, much to his relief, just as the sun began to set,

The boy opened the faulty door to see 9 of his sisters fighting for what he assumed was the remote since the T.V. switched channels every now and then, that or the aliens found out where he lived and are now coming for him... okay, maybe he is going crazy,

Lincoln sneakily walked towards the stairs wishing to not get any of his sister's attention so he can just peacefully go to his room and sleep, but with his luck, and the family's tendency to meddle, it would be nearly impossible.

"Hey, Lincoln!" Leni, the fashionista, greeted, amidst the family's usual chaos.

"Dang it!" He cursed, "Hey, guys!" He gave them a faux smile, as the sisters momentarily stopped their fighting

"Where have you been all day, twerp?" Lori, the eldest, questioned, "We thought something literally terrible happened to you." She said as she swiped the remote from Lana,

Well, something bad did happen to me, he thought, "I'm fine guys, I was just busy with... something." He lied, It was nice they cared and all, but he just wanted to go to bed before they pried too much,

"Like what, dude?" Luna, the musician, questioned, as she took the remote from Lori

"Nothing important..." Aside from maybe accidentally murdering an alien and going inside a cool alien spaceship and setting free four possibly deadly stones, he thought, as if they'd believe me, no one in their right mind would believe that!

"Pffft, I bet it's about a girl!" Lynn, the sports enthusiast, said, and stole the remote from Luna as a blush spread on Lincoln's cheeks

"No it's not!" He defended a little too quick, "I don't even know a girl that I like, yet!" He added, but quickly realized a mistake.

"Yet? So when will you start liking a girl, Lincoln?" Lola, the spoiled princess, teased, grabbing the remote as the other girls snickered.

"Like, yeah. When will you start liking Ronnie Anne as more than a friend, Linky?" Leni added as she grabbed Lola's tiara instead of the remote,

The girl's comment resulted in the others to screech in excitement and Lincoln was forced to cover his ears out of pain, as the noise surprisingly made his ears hurt.

Weird, it never hurt like that before, he said confused, but took advantage of their distraction and bolted to his small room, as he reached the second floor he started to feel dizzy as he opened the door to his room, Weird, he grabbed the doorframe to support himself, gripping the door with immense strength as a headache overcame him, he continued to limp to his bed, not noticing the dents on the wooden doorframe, I must be more tired than I thought...

He dropped on the bed and laid there as he began to feel weaker, the room started to feel hotter and his body began to ache, Maybe it's just a fever? he asked himself, but he was too tired to care, or remember anything, in fact.

Whatever, he thought, I'll just sleep it off...

And that's the first chapter! It mainly focused on Lincoln and Clyde finding a gem in the forest, if you've read my previous versions, you'd know what it is, but I'd rather you would not spoil for the sake of other readers. Now some other things I want to clarify!

I'm not sure how often I can update the story, but I'll try at least every week if I have enough time.

Don't expect other chapters to be long, I didn't mean for this to be as long as 4000 words

If you guys(or gals, gender equality), have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them!

This story will have a fixed rating of T because of the violence and the thing.

And most of the Loud family will have different character designs, not because I hate them (they're perfect) I'm just changing it to be more appropriate to the story, because you can't wear a pink dress to an alien invasion. I probably won't write their redesigns in the story to avoid unnecessary details I'll just put them in the author notes next chapter(because I don't know if you guys imagine what's your reading in your head like I do.

Leave a review if you wish and some tips if you have any problems you want to help out with, I'd surely appreciate it!
