Diary of Kurt Hummel

He slumped into the comfort of his own room, the only time he did not have to fight. Fight Karovsky, fight off his concerns, and drop his masquerade. He opened his little brown diary and began.

"Karovsky shoved me into the locker again. Not that big of a deal. Today, I don't even bother to fight back. It's just... so hard. I got a record number of cherry slushies today, 3. One before lessons, once in break and a goodbye slushy from those jocks on my Navigator.

Dear Diary... Is it bad to feel that..I want to die? No. No, no. I can't. "

Angry tears brimmed Kurt's eyes, he looked up, forcing his eyes to keep in the hot tears. He quickly wiped them away, and sat back against his bed, looking through the window. He didnt want to go to school tomorrow, it's physically and mentally exhausting. A rush of pain spiked his elbows and butt where he fell, and seared all the way to his heart. Why was he gay? Why.. Just because I was born this way, I deserved to be bullied? Maybe I do.. Mama, how is it like in heaven..Can I join you? Papa, are you with mama, waiting for me to join too?

He was tired being told to be optimistic. Everytime when it got better, it went right to the worse. First he had a friend, Sebastian. They stuck through a month. It was the longest friendship Kurt had. He sighed deeply, remembering how Sebastian's brows furrowed when the revelation of his sexuality came. That was the last of Seb.

"Dad?" Kurt whispered, tears falling as he saw Burt in the doorway with Elizabeth. "Mom!" Kurt cried, lunging forward into both their arms. "I want a hug-" Kurt scrambled towards them, passing through the translucent images and falling through his parents. "Come...Kurt.." they beckoned. Kurt looked up, struggling to hold his disappearing parents.

"Nonono Mom! Dad!" Kurt shouted. Where his parents should have been was reduced to nothing. Kurt kneeled on the rough carpeted floor, a broken sob escaping his ribs. He was alone. But he didn't need to be.

Running to the toilet, he found the perfect teleport to a safe haven to his parents. Breathing out heavily as clammy perspiration dripped from his forehead, he shut his eyes and stumbled on the bed holding the teleport. The shine of the blade was welcoming as it sank on the scarred wrist. whoooah, cutting yourself eh hummel? hah, fag. Karofsky sneered at him, you should die and stop spreading your faggy face around. Kurt looked down his window admist the pool of crimson flowing on his sleeves. There stood Sebastian, on the sidewalk. He faded out slowly, but the buzz on his phone was interupting his journey to his happy place.

"Hell..o.."

"Kurt, I..just wanna say I'm sorry, and I want to be your friend again." Sebastian's remourseful voice rang.

"It's...okay.." Kurt was running out of time.

"Goodbye Seb..you're..my longest.."

"What?"

"A month...and 4 days.."

A thud, the phone on the ground and a thud, the last beat of Kurt's heart.
