Maximus and The Queen/Primrose are from the movie Tangled. King/Agdar are from the movie Frozen. Both belong to Disney. I only own Edward, the stables master, and Thomas.

Eleven year old Prince Agdar was walking through the crowded and noisy market in Corona with his sister, and their guard escort Edward, when he heard yelling, a smack, and a pain filled whinny coming from the back curtain of one of the stalls. He veered off from Edward and Primrose to take a look. He walked behind the stall to see a teenager, with a whip, standing over a skinny white horse fawn with golden-yellow hair. The fawn, looked to on it's last legs, had cuts, scrapes, bruises, and it had a small trickle of blood oozing from one of the cuts. The horse looked in Agdar's direction, his black eyes were pleading for help.

As the teen was about to strike the fawn with the whip, drawing the attention of Agdar and the horse back to him, Agdar dove in front of the horse and gently wrapped his arms around it's neck, taking the hit from the whip. The fawn let out a startled winnie, the teen cried out in surprise, Agdar just grit his teeth at the stinging pain that was now present between his eyes. He glared at the teen, his arms still around the neck of the horse.

The teen started to swing the whip over his head, saying "You just made a big mistake, boy."

"Agdar! Brother, where are you?" Primrose called, just as the whip struck Agdar's mouth.

"Here!" He cried, spitting a bit of blood from his mouth but not letting the horse go.

Primrose, and Edward, appeared behind the stall. The second Edward's eyes lie on the teen, he leapt on him, pinning him down to the ground and, most likely, breaking the wrist that held the whip.

Edward looked at Agdar with concern, taking in the blood the prince spat out and the bruise between his eyes, "are you alright, prince?"

The teen looked shocked, but not as shocked as the horse.

"Yes, Edward, Primrose, I am fine. This fawn, however, is not faring well. I would like to take him back to the palace and take care of him."

The teen scowled from beneath Edward "you think that just because you're a stuck up, snobby, goody-goody that I'm going to let you have that horse?"

"Silence, Thomas." A man said, walking in. He was either the teen's boss or father. The boss turned to the prince "I apologize for my employee, I had no knowledge that he was abusing the fawn." The man sighed, looking at the poor creature that was huddled against his savior, "if you would like him, he is yours."

Agdar nodded, reaching into his pocket for some pieces of gold, but the man stopped him be holding a hand up "no need, your grace. Knowing that the young fawn is going to be taken care of is enough for me." He turned to the boy "as for you, you're fired."

"WHAT?!"

Agdar, with Primrose's help, stood up. The fawn had stood up, shakily. Agdar, supporting the skinny fawn, turned to his sister.

"Prim, go get my wagon."

Primrose did as instructed, getting the wagon that Agdar pulled around the square. The wagon had some old blankets from Adgar's old nursery that that boy used to make the wagon soft to sit in, she even grabbed some clean hay and put it in the wagon as well. The man that originally owned the horse picked up the small creature and set him in the wagon. Agdar looked at the scared fawn, who was shivering. He removed his jacket, a black one with a red diagonal line going through it, and put it over the horse.

He patted the horse's face gently, and said "everything is going to be okay, Maximus."
