I don't own any of the Fast and Furious characters..

Ten years. It's funny how, looking back at it now, it seems like a lifetime. Sitting in his office, pondering his thought, he almost missed the blaring of the office phone.

"Toretto's Garage. This is Dom."

"Dom it's Mia. I need your help."

"Are you okay?!" Dom asks.

"Yea. I'm fine." Mia replies angrily. "But you nephew won't be as soon as I get my hands on him."

Dom couldn't help but chuckle softly. Though he may be the spitting image of Brian, that kids was definitely a Toretto. "What did he do this time?"

"Well, according to his principal, he snuck into the office and re-wired the intercom system. Dom, he's looking at serious trouble. They used words like vandalism. And pressing charges! I just don't know what to do with him anymore!"

Dom could hear the aggravation in Mia's voice. It had been a tough time for all of them. Jack, having lost his dad a year ago, was having serious behavior issues. And Dom couldn't blame the kid. Loosing Brian had been hard on everyone.

"Come on, Mia. Give him a break. He's got a lot going on," Dom pleaded. The kid needed someone in his corner. And, while he understood Mia's point, she could come down a bit rough at times.

"I understand. But his principal is fed up, Dom," Mia aid dejectedly. "Look, can you please handle this one? If I have to sit in front of that woman and grovel one more time..."

"Yea, yea. I got this."

"Thank you. Oh, and ummm, you need to call Letty."

"Come on, Mia!" Dom said through gritted teeth.

"Dom, you have to face this. She gave you those divorce papers almost a year ago. You need to let go. I love you, and I love Letty. You guys are my family. But this isn't helping anyone. She's moving on. So should you."

"Pot and kettle sis." Dom took the cheap shot. It was a low blow and he knew it. But, hell, he was still fucking pissed. It hurt to know that, even after everything they went through, he and Letty still couldn't make it work.

"Just call her, Dom!"

"Sure." Click. Dom slammed the phone down angrily. Time to go face the dragon.
