Takedown: A Rugrats fanfic

Author's Note: I have decided to write this story because of the current Directv vs Viacom dispute. I am a Directv customer and this personally affects me. Viacom has made Directv take down 26 channels. My favorite channels they took away were mostly Nick and Teen Nick. This fanfic is my response to that. if you don't like it, you don't have to read it.

Summary: Angelica and Tommy are watching tv one day and find out that their programs aren't on. Please read and review. Oneshot.

Tommy's House

July 11th

It was a regular summer afternoon. Angelica and baby Tommy were watching tv in the house with air conditioning. Angelica was sitting on the couch. Baby Tommy was sitting in his playpen, rolling his ball with the star. Angelica had the remote in her hand and was scrolling through the channels.

When she got to the channel number where Nickelodeon was supposed to be, it wasn't there. Instead it was replaced with "Kids Mix". Angelica clicked on the channel. It said:

"Viacom has forced us to remove Nickelodeon. Please enjoy these other shows while we get Nickelodeon back."

Angelica didn't really like anything she saw on the kids mix. So she scrolled to the channel where Nick Jr was supposed to be.

Instead, there was a man on the screen talking about the situation.

"What the heck? Where's Nickelodeon? I want to watch "Winx Club"!" Angelica exclaimed in frustration.

Tommy came over to the front of his playpen to see what was wrong.

"What's wrong, Angelica?" Tommy asked, curiously.

"Somebody called Viacom, who ever that is has made Directv take down Nickelodeon! So now I can't watch "Winx Club" and you can't watch "Nick Jr.". Angelica replied.

"But, Angelica how could they do that?" Tommy asked, almost as upset as she was.

"I don't know, Tommy. But I sure hope they put them back on soon." Angelica replied
