Hello there! I know that it's been a while since I posted something new (I basically do it like every month due to school work. *Cough chemistry*), but I have returned! He's a new honest comic trailer. ENJOY! (Garfield belongs to Jim Davis, Honest Trailers belong to Screen Junkies).
From a man who created tons of comics before you were born, comes a series of 3-panel comic strips that has made many more fat jokes than all "your mama's so fat..." jokes ever created,
GARFIELD!
Welcome to the Arbuckle household. There's John, a super weeb at everything who somehow manages to have worst luck when it comes to dating girls. Garfield, a fat cat with his stomach the size of the earth on the inside and a nasty temper tantrum. Odie, a dog with supernatural, elastic body parts. Normal, the obnoxious kitten that everyone despises because Jim forgot that Normal hasn't been a kitten for CENTURIES. Arlene, a pink cat who puts on lipstick, even though she is a cat. What I'm trying to say is that, "Okkkkkkkkkkay...?".
Watch as how Garfield can set abnormal records in an un-realistic cartoon like being: 110 years old in human years, being able to eat much more food than a "man vs. food" episode, looking to be in his 30's after being 78 human years old, is able to nail the TV to the ceiling without being able to walk on the ceiling, can survive a piano being put on top of him, be able to throw a snowball, has bad luck always when it comes to Monday and had the most similar-looking relatives of all time.
There are also some questions that may never be answered, like: "How could the animals even be able to communicate with each other, if they only say thoughts?" and, "Why does Garfield beat up Odie and not the other way around?" and, "Why did the people at the circus accept the cat as an assistant?" and, "How do Mondays in this universe even work?" and, "How can a cat perform on a stage?" and, "How can Garfield fit in a suitcase without food or water, yet still survive?" and finally, "Is John the only patient Liz gets?"
But that's not all. Jim Davis is also successful at making the EXACT SAME PUNCHLINE FOR THREE COMICS about fishing rods and how he'd "cast out the old line," with Garfield saying that the bait is dead, making thousands of unfunny comics, and made himself a low variety of topics to choose from to talk about. I'm just going to skip to starring, 'cause why not?
STARRING:
Garfield - Tie died pig
John - Leader of the nerd squad
Odie - 's (Reed Richard's) dog
Nermal - How is that a name? That's an adjective where you replaced the "o" with an "e"!
Arlene - buck-toothed cat
Pooky - A stuffed animal
Squeak - That's also not a name. It's a form of onomatopoeia!
Liz - Girlfriend of the leader of the nerd squad
And Lyman - Master of hide-and-seek.
In,
Geez, how did this comic become so popular in the first place?
If you thought this was confusing, watch the show. Nothing makes any sense in that cartoon.
A/N:
I hope you enjoyed the trailer. I'm trying to make these trailers on series no one else has covered yet. Please leave good reviews, for I think I did a good job.
