The world is spinning! Red, blue, pink, Gus the Second most famous Groundhog in Pennsylvania, the wicked witch of the West? Lonzies wakes up and finds her rainbow blanket over her head. Outside the cold ground of Mars is turning pink because of the early spring this year.
It has been a year now since Lonzies has come out. Her best friend did not understand, so Lonzies switched schools. In her new school she is in LOVE with a girl named William. William is bi.
Lonzies decided to go to the Gay Pride parade in Lincoln next Saturday. It is going to be the biggest parade the University has ever seen. Over 500 million people are expected to attend. But why would she go to the parade by herself? So after going to her self help session with her guidance consular, she decides to ask William to go to the Parade with her.
Posters all over the school read "Gay Pride Parade," but all the signs are ruined with nasty slurs and comments. Lonzies feels her pride decreasing. It is so low! She starts to cry, and then the principal asks her if everything is O.K.?
Lonzies lies to her Grandmother, the principal, "Everything is OK I'm just tired."
"Are you sure," Ms. Kink says, "You don't look happy Darling."
"I'm fine just tired and worn out," Lonzies lies because her grandmother is an old fashion Christian and doesn't believe in homosexuals. So Lonzies continued to go to class. She is late for Algebra II, but she knows William will be there.
As Lonzies gets to Room 3996, her binder splits and papers go everywhere. Then, as she is picking up her papers there are two other hands helping here. She looks up and sees a familiar face.
It is William!
Then "poof!" The world stops spinning as Lonzies holds up her finger and casts a spell.
