Okay, so this story is going to be a challenge for me seeing that I have never written a story portraying this relationship: Emmett and Rosalie. Please give it a shot and bare along with me. As always please R&R. Your opinions fuel my writing.
So we all know that Rosalie wanted a child and that is what she misses most of her human life. This will take place during her prime vampire years. She agonizes when she realizes she cannot do what a woman should. In Emmett's P.O.V

I was outside with Alice, teaching her the proper way to throw a ball when she suddenly turned blank. Her whole body stiffened and the ball dropped from her hand. I steadied her, arms around her shoulders, and waited for her to return. She exhaled sharply and looked towards me.
"Alice? What is it, what did you see?" Her face was saddened, however was not grave.
"Rose is up in her room, I think she needs you." I nodded my head and bound towards the house. Thankfully Esme wasn't in the house, had she have been I think she would've reprimanded me for tearing through the house like a bull in a china shop. I calmed myself and headed towards Rose's room. I stopped outside the door and listened. Quiet sobs came from within. I calmed myself before knocking on the door.
"Yes?"
"Rose it's me, can I come in?"
"Of course." Her voice broke softly and the sobbing continued. I opened the door and saw my beauty sitting on her bed, facing away from me, towards the window. I walked over to her and embraced her, softly.
"Baby what's wrong?" She shook her head gently.
"Don't tell me 'nothing'. If it weren't anything you wouldn't be upset. So let's try this again. Rose, what's wrong?"
"I spoke with Esme last night. I asked her, just out of curiosity, why it was that she had never bore any children. I mean, her and Carlisle have been together for quite a while."
"What did she say?"
"She explained to me that she-" her crying became heavier and it became almost impossible to understand her. I kissed her neck softly and she calmed down and began talking again.
"She, Alice or I cannot have children." I was shocked and I didn't understand. I mean I understand there are some cases where I woman cannot carry children but something told me this was not the same.
"When we completed our transformation, our bodies were halted. Our bodies no longer do what they should. Emmett I wanted children so badly. I would have been a great mother."
"You would have been. You are a great and loving person. Anyone is lucky to have you in their life." I embraced her and she slowly turned around.
"I love you too. But I can't be everything to you if I cannot give you children. I know we had never really talked about it but it only seemed natural. Please don't be angry with me." I spoke gently. "Rosalie I could never be angry with you. You have done nothing wrong."
"I just didn't want you to feel that I was imposing the idea on you."
"You were only doing what was natural for almost every woman. But please understand this: You do not need to give me children for me to know that you love me. You prove that to me every day. I have a smile on my face every day because I know that I have you. Know, put a smile on your face and let me show you just how much I love you." I picked her up gently and twirled her around. Within seconds, the beautiful smile returned to her face and I knew that everything was going to be okay.
"Rosalie, I love you!."
