"Happy Father's Day, Dad!"
Jack smiled as he pulled his boy into a one armed hug and took the offered envelope. After the incident with the water gun three days earlier, he had feared Charlie would stay angry much longer.
Jack opened the card.
The cover was a picture of a man in a blue uniform, chest full of medals, next to a boy in a similar uniform, standing hand-in-hand. It said, Just like my Dad. The message inside was short.
Happy Father's Day to the best Dad ever.
