A/N: This is a one-shot that takes place during the timeline of 'Sealed Love' in a future chapter. Jounouchi muses over what Yuugi and Anzu have done to succumb so far into the darkness. Italics indicate Jou's thoughts. Enjoy! I may add on if I want to.
The dirty-blond duelist Katsuya Jonouchi looked around the field then up at his best friend Yuugi Motou.
The Oracle of Darkness' symbol shined brightly on the now evil duelist's forehead.
'What have you done Yuugi?' Jou thought.
Yuugi laughed wickedly a laugh so cold and evil you'd think his heart was frozen in ice. "Make your move Jounouchi. The Oracle is hungry. It's feeding time and it wants your soul.." He giggled evilly.
Jounouchi looked at Yuugi. "Yuugi.. What have you done?" He asked.
"What do you mean Katsuya?" He hissed.
"Look around the field. See what you've done to your monsters? Now their evil shadow creatures!"
The azure-eyed brunette Anzu Mazaki, Yuugi's closest childhood friend and now girlfriend laughed loudly.
"Jounouchi you fool. Yuugi has done what he had to. He made himself stronger. Now everyone can see he's not a weak and defenseless little boy like you think!" Anzu cackled.
Jou looked up at Yuugi. "Yuugi.. I never thought about you. You're my best friend."
Yuugi snickered. "Don't try to deceive me. I'm not the weak little boy you knew."
Anzu giggled. "That's right. Now he's my little bad boy."
Jounouchi looked at them. "Anzu I can sort of understand Yuugi but you?" He asked.
Anzu looked down the coldness in her eyes softening a little. "You wouldn't understand Katsuya.." She replied.
"Anzu.." Jou pleaded.
"Silence!" Anzu shouted. "The faster the Oracle devours your soul the happier I'll be!"
Jounouchi looked up at her with hurt eyes.
There was no convincing them at all.
'What have you done Yuugi and Anzu?' Jou asked as he seemed to fade into his own daydreams.
