The Final Curtain Call!

Summary – How I believe Supernatural should end.

The bunker is quiet, which is unusual since its residents were usually talking, listening to music, or arguing about something unimportant. Sam would be reading one of the millions of books in the library, researching and learning as much as he can. Dean would be looking for a hunt, maybe drinking a beer, and listening to some ACDC on the radio. A normal day as one can get in the life of a Winchester. But those days are long gone now. The bunker remains empty, once again oblivious to the world outside. But this hideaway tells a story. Many in fact. But none as important as the tales of Sam and Dean Winchester. The Winchester Chronicles, if you prefer.

Things weren't supposed to end the way they did. Sam and Dean had cheated death hundreds of times, yet it would always come for their friends or family members. Today was no different. A routine hunt, Dean called it. A simple salt and burn, yet there was more than met the eye. The body of the ghost they were hunting had been cremated, meaning its spirit was still attached to some sort of object that was close to them. That's where things went south. Sam and Dean never did find the object, though they looked. In the end, the spirit turned into a nasty poltergeist, way beyond saving. But Sam still wanted to try. Saving People, Hunting Things, The Family Business. It was this reasoning that led to the first attack. Blindsided by the spirit, Sam went down hard, but managed to pick himself back up. The second attack was on Dean, sending him flying through a window, three stories up. He died upon impact. Sam, unable to help his brother, continued to fight.

Various hunters claim Sam lasted all of ten minutes more before the poltergeist was able to send him head first into a wall. The force of the impact made Sam's skull crack and he died minutes later. Many people who knew the Winchesters wonder what became of their bodies. Shortly after they were discovered and taken to the morgue, an eyewitness states that she saw a blinding white light in the room, followed by the shape of a man who appeared to glow. She also says he was crying. When the light faded, both Sam and Dean's bodies had disappeared.

No one is certain, but years after the Winchesters' death, it's been said violence cut back all around the world. Less murders, fewer robberies, less everything. Crowley, the King of Hell, had apparently done this out of respect for the fallen brothers, even though they were on opposite sides. The good news is, there are others out there, like Sam and Dean ready and willing to fight the good fight and, if death comes calling, they're more than willing to take as many evil sons of bitches with them as they can!
