A/N: Hello! How are you? Well, I am GREAT! So, I've realized that here are so many things that I have done on FanFiction. You know, make an account, read, review, read, add fellow writers to my favorite list-along with their stories. Yet, the only thing I've never done was write. This is just a starter. See how it goes. If it is any good. If I am any good.

Yes, this is a one-shot. (Since it is like a tester:3)

It is basically showing-both Clare and Eli's perspectives of how finding one another has changed their lives forever.:)

So, enjoy:3 And review?

He sat there, hands shaking. Sweat furrowed above his right eyebrow as he waited. Where was she? Christmas break was finally over, the kiss that they had shared at the Frostival still lingered between the two. Eli didn't want it to just be a 'fleeting moment with twinkly lights' sort of thing. And if it was, he was hoping that she'd just tell him.

Thinking back to all of the relationships he has ever been in, Clare was always the one that stood out most. No, she wasn't like Imogen with the vibrant clothing and cat-eared headband. And she certaintly was not like Julia. Quiet and aloof.

Clare was Clare. Shy and insecure, yet, stood up for what she believed in. Never once did he doubt her. Think anything else of her. Back to the first time he had ran over her glasses. At first, she was just some girl that was stupid enough to let them fall out, into the street. But, the minute he exited the car and retrieved her glasses, the tables turned. He was caught up in that stark gaze that she didn't know she held. Her beauty was vibrant.

"I think their dead." He had said, putting the glasses out between them. Clare's face had flushed a tiny hint of red as she took them in her hand. Hesitating to speak.

"It's okay, I uh, got lazer eye surgery."

And in that moment-where Eli looked down to see those eyes, he was taken back. How could anyone be this beautiful?

"You have pretty eyes." He had blurted out, not regretting it at all. Clare flushed again.

"Uh, thanks. I'll see you around."

"Yes you will."

Eli shifted a little in his seat. Maybe he should just go home. What if it all was just a 'fleeting moment?'

Then the memories began flooding back. Their project kiss, admiting his past to her, kissing her in the library, crashing his Morty-

Eli gulped. That night was the most vivid to him. Him, on the phone screaming his heart out while Clare stepped on the pieces. Him, in the hospital, as she accused him of manipulating her.

Tears came to Eli's eyes. He needed to leave now. He needed to get away.

To late.

Why?

Clare stepped through Drew's back doors and stood there. A wary smile on her face. She was just as nervous as him.

Before Eli knew it, Clare was already questioning the kiss. which meant Eli had to answer back. He did the old 'ball-in-court method.'

"Are you all in?" Clare, sitting down beside him on the bench, took his head in her small hands and crashed her lips over his. Whispering against his lips;

"Eli, I'm all in."

(End.)
