He sat at her grave site, crying. He had done that often since she left.

'Left' He couldn't even say the word. Died! She died, damnit.

As he shook, crying, he felt a presence behind him. Turning his neck, he saw her.

"Hi Tony."

"Now I know I'm losing my mind."

"You can't lose something you never had." she smiled.

Tony wiped the tears from his eyes as he stood to face her. "That was actually a good one."

"Thanks. I was saving it."

"So, if I'm not losing my mind, what are you doing here?"

"Checking in to see if you're okay."

"I don't know who I am anymore, or why I am holding on."

"You're still Tony DiNozzo. Pain in the ass."

"Thanks," he said sarcastically.

"And the best friend I've ever had."

Tony smiled slightly. "Really?"

"Really."

"And I thought you hated me."

"I loved you, Tony. And I miss you more then I ever thought possible."

"I love you too. And I miss you so much it hurts."

"You're gonna get past it. I promise. Charisma will help you."

"We finally set a date. I was so excited about it, I picked up the phone to tell you. I had the number almost completely dialed before I realized what I was doing."

"It'll get better."

"I don't want it to. I want it to go back to the way it was. But it can't. I need you, Kate."

"No you don't. You never did."

"How can you be so sure?"

"Because I am."

Tony watched his partner. "You're leaving, aren't you?"

"Just for a bit."

"I can't say goodbye."

"It's not goodbye. It's so long."

"I don't even know if I can say that." He said, tears in his eyes.

Kate smiled as she faded away. "I love you, Tony," she whispered.

"I love you too, Kate," he replied to nothing.
