I slipped through the slightly ajar door into our new house. It smelt like pine sol and new beginnings. A smile slipped onto my face as I tiptoed down the hallway. Suddenly something grabbed me from behind. My nose caught the smell of faygo and sopor radiating off him, and I instantly smiled again. I turned around and hugged my clown matespirit. Gamzee honked happily as his arms tightened around and he buried his face in my neck. " HeY KaRbRo WhAt ArE yOu AlL uP aNd MoThErFuCkIn' DoIn' CrEePiN' aRoUnD aLl QuIeT lIke?" He whispered into my shoulder. I sighed and rested my head on his shoulder. He had lifted me up partially so he could better access my neck. I giggled when he planted a kiss behind my ear. "JUST EXPLORING."
Me and gam sat down on the sofa we had previously pushed in front of the TV. Well, it had been mostly Gam, because he is way stronger than me. We already had the TV hooked up to the DVD player. Both of them were resting on a make shift stand that consisted of two small unopened boxes. The TV sat level with our line of sight when we sat on the sofa. Gam had already taken the liberty of putting on "Sixteen Candles" for me before we sat down. I snuggled into his chest as the movie played.
We watched movies all day until it was nearly dawn. I had fallen asleep halfway through "You Had Me at Hello" and Gam carried me upstairs before placing me on the mattress, curling up, and falling asleep himself.
The house was silent as the couple slept, clutching each other as they dreamed of romcoms and sopor pie.
