Jerry Marsh woke up Saturday morning. His dad went on a fishing trip with Kyle and Kenny. His mother Wendy was just finishing up cooking bacon and eggs.
After Jerry took his shower he went down to the kitchen.
Wendy said "since your girlfriend Kate and Melissa are spending the weekend with their mothers I sure can't see a reason I can't take you on a special trip."
After breakfast they loaded up the car and were headed for a hotel in Denver.
First they stopped at Stark's Pond.
Jerry asked "what are we stopping here for mom?"
Wendy answered "this was one of the first places your father and I met for what was supposed to be a romantic meeting. However Kyle had to deal with aliens who kidnapped his brother Ike at the time."
Jerry gave her a strange look and said "only in South Park right mom?"
Wendy replied "pretty much."
Wendy asked "did I ever tell you about the time Kathy Lee Gifford came to South Park?"
Jerry answered "yeah once or twice and that was supposed to be your award but Cartman cheated on the essay."
Wendy said "oh right but did I tell you our teacher tried to shoot her?"
Jerry replied "no why on earth did your teacher try to shoot Kathy Lee Gifford?"
Wendy said "he was crazy."
As they travelled down the highway toward Denver Wendy put in an old album.
Wendy said "I know you hate that tween wave music that my generation grew up on. This is Judas Priest."
Soon they hear the hit song Living After Midnight.
When they arrived at the hotel they were so happy.
Jerry yelled "MOM THEIR POOL HAS A WATER SLIDE!"
Wendy said "well I don't know if I want you going down that big slide."
Jerry stated "it's not that big."
Wendy exhaled and said "I guess it isn't that bad."
Jerry replied "not nearly as rough and bad as when you kicked Eric Cartman's ass on the playground. I loved hearing that story let me tell you."
Wendy laughed.
