If she was the one who wanted to be alone, why was he the one so lonely?
How did he manage to fall right into the pit that she somehow managed to crawl out of.
He didn't find it fair at all.
He wouldn't go so far as to say he wish he'd never met her but he would, without hesitation, take back every moment, every effort, every breath, he ever spent on saving her.
Yes, that's right.
He was the one who saved her in the end.
The others did it for their own sakes, but he...he had did it for hers.
And she knew that very well.
And yet...here he was.
In the darkness.
He had no one when she left.
Everyone else had already disappeared.
His life had done a complete 180 and it was all because of her.
It used to be that he couldn't get any peace and quiet and now it wouldn't go away.
The silence, the emptiness.
She made him lonely, though deep inside, he had always been.
But he knew...she had also been the one to take that away.
She had filled that empty hole.
But when she decided to remove herself, she left it deeper.
How dare she.
She was supposed to be the wallflower no one noticed.
She was supposed to be the one rejected by the world.
She was supposed to be the one cast out by society.
She was supposed to be the one content with the recluse lifestyle.
How had the tables turned in such a brief amount of time?
What had brought about this dramatic change?
When did she begin to shine?
Why was it so hard for him to stand?
Was this the light that he used to give off?
Was he ever this bright in the first place?
Or was it because he had become accustomed to the darkness, that she seemed unnaturally bright?
No. No. No.
He was not the one who did this?
She was. She was the one who changed.
He had wanted her to change, but not like this.
Not in a way he would get left behind.
Not in a way he would be miserable.
He had sacrificed his happiness so she would no longer live in misery.
He now wonders if that cost was a little too expensive.
He used to be a king and she made him her pawn.
The reason for his problems was her.
She wanted to be royalty when in reality, she was a peasant.
There was no one to blame but her.
He would...hate her...for an indefinite...amount of time.
He had given her confidence but it made her contorted.
It transformed her from a likeable person to a twisted bitch.
The way she treated him, behaved towards him after everything he'd done for her?
After making her his queen, she strips him of his crown?
No. No. No.
The voices in his head and heart are right.
His sight is perfectly fine.
It's the world who's crooked.
