Don't worry I'm not putting Whole Again on hold, it's just been hard to update. I promise though it is almost done. For now this is a little ficlet for a friend... Enjoy...

Disclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha. Get over it.

The day had been a long one; demons were coming more often to try and take the jewel shards away from the group. Not that they had any luck with it, but still; it was hard work. She wasn't going to complain though. If she did, she wouldn't stop. Her ranting would just flow out of her mouth and drive everybody crazy.

Oh yeah, that much was certain. With everything going on in her life, she could complain for a good long while; non-stop. But she won't do it. After all, if she was going to be up in the morning, sleep must be had.

Unfortunately for Kagome, sleep just wouldn't come easily that night. It was already past midnight, and still sleep wouldn't set in. 'I hope he still isn't mad at me for yelling at him today. Although he did deserve it, the baka.'

Finally deciding she couldn't take it anymore, she sighed and sat up from her sleeping bag. With Shippo right there, she silently crawled out of the hut grabbing her portable CD player and mini speakers and made her way over to the hill just beyond the rice fields, remembering to take her bows and arrows this time. The memories of that last time she couldn't sleep entered her mind. 'I still can't believe he tried to take me away again. That Kouga can be so dense sometimes. Oh well.'

Setting up the music, she took off her shoes and socks. When she was satisfied, Kagome reached over and pressed the play button.

Unfortunately all that 'racket' woke a certain hanyou. Who, when he discovered a certain miko wasn't inside the hut, got slightly agitated and went off in search of her. Following the sounds of a strange form of music, he found her rather quickly. What he came upon, however, was another matter.
