Summary: Aeryn thinks about what Zhaan said.
Notes: As always, blame my muse.

"Always a peacekeeper." Zhaan had said it to her while she was
infected with the spores. Now, Aeryn sat in her quarters, looking out
the windows and thinking about the crew's encounters in the budong. Or
at least Aeryn was trying to think about the budong. Instead, all that
Aeryn could think of was what Zhaan had said: "Always a peacekeeper."
Was that true? Zhaan had apologized, but her words lingered.
"Hey, spacebabe, whatcha up to?" It was Crichton. He was at her door,
bothering her, like always.
"Thinking."
"Whatcha thinking about?"
"Peacekeepers."
"Screw um, baby. You're a million times better than even three
trillion peacekeepers all put together."
"You really think so?"
"Yep."
"Hmm, well, even if I'm not as good as you think, I can still take
solace in one fact."
"And what's that?"
"I can always," She turned to face him, "Kick your butt." John smiled
and was about to open his mouth to reply when his saw a sly grin cross
Aeryn's face.
"Oh, no!" John turned on his heels and ran out the door. Aeryn
quickly crossed the distance of the room and was out the door chasing
Crichton within seconds. As she turned in one of Moya's large corridors,
a thought struck her: *I AM more than a Peacekeeper, as long as I have
them. My friends. *
