Memories fade into a forgotten land,
Whilst destiny extends an aging hand.
Fate plays her role and ties us down,
And man rises up to break the bounds

A whisper of promises, of things long past,
These memories fade and cease to last.
My loved ones gone, my hopes shattered.
Swiped from me was all that mattered.

My life is lost and soul not found,
My ears are deaf and hear no sound.
My eyes no longer see what is real,
And words cannot describe how I now feel.

My sword lies close to my side,
The wound I keep is far too wide.
Scars left in my soul and heart
From here and on, our ways shall part.

I lie here dying and feel no pain,
My feelings washing away like rain.
I have no time left to say what I need,
The Dark calls me, it wants to feed.

Perhaps some day, you will understand,
