AN: Ok so my resident SGU nut and I were watching reruns of SGU and we wanted to know why Greer punched Telford, so here we are! A story on it… I hope you guys like it. This will be my first SGU story not centered around Everett and TJ, so bear with me! Enjoy!

Greer had been on the Icarus since the beginning. He was one of the first ones on the planet aside from the Colonel and the Lieutenants. The four of them had basically been inseparable seeming that they were so close and worked together so well. Then Colonel Stick-Up-His-Ass shows up and everything changed. Things were not as easy going as when it was just Colonel Young. Greer never understood why Young let Telford walk all over him.

Greer stood back and didn't mind it. He just followed orders and minded his own business. That all changed when Telford started getting a little too friendly with TJ. At first it was just quick glances and watching her walk away, but then it moved on to small touches and gestures and always showing her different things. TJ noticed and started to pull away because of what she had going on with Everett, but that just made Telford mad. Greer told him to back off and all Telford did was glare, but he backed off. For the time being.

Greer snapped when he saw Telford had TJ pinned against the wall, his hand under her shirt. TJ had a panicked look on her face, her eyes darting for someone to find them. When she spotted Greer, she relaxed slightly.

"What the hell are you doing?" Greer asked. Telford pulled away and glared at Greer who used his head to motion for TJ to get out of there. TJ ran without looking back.

"Sergeant Greer, please announce yourself properly next time" Telford said, getting his temper back under control. Greer mentally rolled his eyes. He could not be serious. He was sexually harassing one of his subordinates and Greer was getting yelled at.

"Sir" Greer said in acknowledgement. Telford nodded once and turned to leave when Greer stopped him. "Sir?" he questioned. Telford turned around and his face was met with Greer's fist. Telford fell to the floor in agony. "Next time you want to do that sir, why don't you find a willing participant" Greer said before turning on his heels and heading off to find TJ.

TJ was sitting under the stair, her knees pulled up to her chest sobbing. She was humiliated and once Everett found out he wouldn't want her anymore. She didn't know what to do. Her sobs stopped as she heard someone approaching. Suddenly Greer had crawled under the stairs with her.

"Don't tell anyone" she begged. Greer hesitated, but nodded and consoled her. Suddenly a large group of soldiers came and dragged Greer out. "What's going on?" TJ shouted standing up with them.

"Sergeant Greer is being held until a court date is set for assaulting Colonel Telford, ma'am" one soldier said. TJ looked at Greer helplessly.

"Wait he did it…" she started.

"Let's move soldiers" Greer said interrupting TJ. He would rather be held on charges than make TJ tell anyone. As they lead Greer away, TJ ran to Everett's office and told him everything. He held her and told her he would see what he could do without letting everyone on base know.

Greer thought back to that day as he watched a pregnant TJ move around the room, smiling at Everett. He wouldn't have changed a thing about that day. He was glad TJ was safe and sound and happy with Everett.
