Never Ending Arguments
Kenshin, Kaoru, Yahiko, and Sanoske were on the border, waiting for a ship to come. Kaoru and Sanoske were busy arguing about how this boat was ran. Their whole argument was like the one about the train. Yahiko and Kenshin watched the two argue back and forth with little sweat rolling down the back of their head. "Fine! We'll let Kenshin decide!", Kaoru declared. "Hey!! What about me?!", Yahiko asked. "We don't need a child's opinion.", Kaoru said defiantly. "What was that?!", Yahiko said always a little pissed off that everyone called him a child or little kid. After all he was very mature for his age. "Kaoru likes Kenshin! Kaoru likes Kenshin!", Yahiko said repeatingly. Then again maybe he wasn't so mature. Kenshin didn't want any part of their conversation and his eyes began to get swirly... again.
Finally it was time to board the ship. Yahiko pushed through but Kaoru caught up to him and pulled him back. "Yahiko!", Kaoru said. "Get off! I don't want an ugly girl touching me!", Yahiko simply said. Kaoru got very annoyed. "Ugly ugly!", Yahiko chanted over again. Kaoru started chasing him and accidentally stepped on Sanoske's shoes. "Hey!", he said. He started to run after the other two. Kenshin stood there a little ashamed. "You guys, can we stop? We're making a scene.", Kenshin asked nicely. "Oh, so now I'm embarrasing you?!", Kaoru yelled. Kenshin got swirly eyed again. "Of course you're embarrasing him. Who could ever be seen with a short-tempered girl such as yourself?", a voice said. It was Ms. Magumi. "Are you ok, Sir Ken?", she said sweetly. Kaoru got really jealous.
What a tramp, Kaoru thought.
"You know Kaoru you should be nice to men that protect you. Isn't that right Sir Ken?", Magumi said. "Well, it couldn't hurt. Right Ms. Kaoru?", Kenshin asked. "Oh so first I embarass you and now I am mean?", Kaoru said. Her eyes began to water. "Hey, Ms. Kaoru I didn't mean it like that!!", Kenshin said. "Sure you did.", Magumi said butting in again. "Magumi will you just let these two settle this out?! We'll never get on and the ship might be leaving soon!", Sanoske said. "No, let them battle it out! It was getting really interesting. I want to see a cat fight between Magumi and Kaoru!", Yahiko said. "Yahiko, you are too young to see a cat fight. Besides it isn't very nice. Someone can get seriously hurt.", Kenshin warned. "What was that?! I am not a child. Besides Magumi is a doctor she can heal Kaoru after she gets beat up.", Yahiko said. "So I am going to lose a fight now?", Kaoru asked offended. She started to tear. "No body likes me anymore.", Kaoru said. "Somebody likes you Kaoru. Isn't that right Kenshin.", Yahiko said. "Uhhhhh....", Kenshin said. Kaoru was cheered up a little bit. "Yahiko! Get on the ship now! You're making everyone feel uncomfortable!", Magumi said, "Although I would like to kick Kaoru's butt for being so mean to Sir Ken. Anyways, I think we had enough arguments for today." Sanoske agreed. "So now I am going to get my ass kicked? Come on Magumi let's settle this once and for all.", Kaoru said putting her fists up. "Alright. I think it is time to get into the ship. That's enough fighitng. Let's get going. Sano and me will gather our things.", Kenshin said as the voice of reason. Kaoru nodded. She was too upset from being dissed so much. Everyone finally got on the ship and sailed away.
