(I love forever... I am so sad to see it axed from the tv.)
"You been throwing up for two weeks straight." Henry said flat out, Lucas looked at him as he spat out the mouth wash into the sink in the ME's bathroom. Henry was stood behind him and looked at him though the mirror
"It's noting just a stomach virus." He tells him as he splashes cold water over his face
"I don't think it's nothing Lucas, you have bene sluggish and a bit emotion of late. Certain smell make you wince or even gag and like to days when I brought on of Abrahams fish pie." The younger man felt his stomach churn with a thought of that smelly pastry dish
"S…Stop or I will be sick again." He whimpered as he held his stomach, Henry smiled that strange lopsided one that told everyone he knew what is wrong…shit…Lucas thought
"You also smell different, your natural odour is musky like wood but at the moment it more like spiced musk."
"Doctor Morgan…"
"Lucas you know my secret I would hope you would be able to tell me…"
"I'mabletocarryababytofulltermandgivebithtoit!" He rattled off, then he passed out.
Henry was shocked that his assistant had passed out and now laid slumped in his arms. Blinking in shock he realised what Lucas told him 'I am able to carry a baby to full term and give birth to it.' …I was right… he smiled at the thought and then picked up the younger man and carried him out the birth room and into his office. He placed him out on the sofa and placed a blanket over him and then sat back in his chair and let his mind ponder how this came out many thoughts passed through his mind about this could happen but each one was busted by the fact that Lucas is a male.
After 10 minutes he heard a groan fall from the younger man's lips, it made the ME look up at him and watch him look around the room before letting out a painful groan as he rubbed his eyes "Are you in any pain?" Henry asked, bolting up right Lucas looked at him with wide eyes as his hands warped itself around him protecting the child with in him.
"J…Just… Look this isn't normal and many people freak out…"
"Lucas I am an immortal man yes while your issue is strange I'm not going to freak out." The younger man nodded and brought his legs around and sat up right. "When did you first find out you have this ability?" Henry asked. Frowning into his hands he sighed before rubbing his has hands though his hair
"I was 15…and I didn't know what was happening I was so scared then my mother took me to one of her 'friends'…"
"A back street doctor?" He asked. Lucas made a face that said yes he was but he was a doctor for real.
"It seems it's a family trait." He told him "My uncle was like it and after she got me to get rid of it she sent me to live him."
"Wait she made you get rid of it?" Henry asked in disbelieve as he watched the young man shrug
"Yeah. I've never spoken to her since."
Henry felt for the young man he worried about him "What is your plan?" He asked, again Lucas shrugged and looked down at into his lap
"Don't really have one, this my second one and I am ummm unsure how to…" He stopped and rubbed his eyes as he looked at him "Sorry." He whispered, as he left his eyes sting from tears he was trying to hold himself back from crying.
"Well… let me be your doctor and I will help you any way I can." He smiled as he got up and sat next to him on the sofa.
"Thank you." He whispered as he felt a hand on his back and started to rub soft circles "Thank you." He broke down into tears and cried into his hands.
"I'm guessing you are 3 to 4 months along?" He asked
"Yeah 3 and an half."
"Umm you should move in with me and Ab." He tells him with a soft smile that made the younger man chuckle weakly "Can I ask who is the father?" Lucas shrugged and looked at him
"One night stand with some guy called Adam."
