it wasn't supposed to be ended by a monster that just happened to stab his weak spot.
they weren't meant to be split up; him in Elysium without her, her alive with a broken heart that he wasn't there to fix.
he hadn't promised to die and leave her all alone.
but some happy endings aren't meant to be.
