He heard her scream. Tirian glances up from the ground, his vision blurry and dizzy from the blow to his head from a Calormene's hilt. Jill is being dragged from her long hair by Rishda Tarkaan. Tirian glances around, Narnia is dying. On the ground he wishes to be behind the stable door.
"Tirian!" Tirian looks up at Jill, crawls up to his feet preparing to rescue Jill with his sword out. Jill shakes her head. "No Tirian behind you!" Jill screams and cries at Rishda's tugging on her hair.
Tirian whips around. A Calormene is about to swipe off Tirian's head with his sword. Tirian ducks from the blow, punches the Calormene hard in the knee. A crack noise is made. The Calormene falls on the ground. Tirian prepares his sword and strikes the Calormene in the heart.
Jill screams, it was agonizing, as if she is… dying. Tirian whips his head around at the stable from where the scream came. Jill is inside the stable, Tirian could not hear Jill no more. Standing at the door is Rishda, he forms a smug smirk at Tirian.
Tirian full of rage pulls his sword out of the Calormene he'd just killed and ran towards Rishda with an angry battle cry. It is just Tirian and Rishda fighting. Everyone else was dead but now all of Tirian's rage came from Jill Pole's death.
Seeing that smug look on Rishda made Tiran fight and slash his sword harder and faster. Tirian twisted his sword along with Rhisda's. Rishda's sword flew out of his tight grip.
Rishda's face was obvious with panic. Tirian then smirks, opens the stable door and grabs Rishda's collar. Tirian thinks of Jill Pole as he prepare to thrust himself and Rishda in.
Tirian wants to now be dead to be with her, he wants to be through the stable door.
