I want to know how you and daddy met!" pleaded the small black haired child blue eyes gleaming in excitement for the tales her mother spun, her strawberry blond twin asleep at her side brown eyes hidden behind soft pink lids already tracing the trails her mother described in her dream world.
Letting out a soft chuckle her mother ruffled her hair and kissed her brow, "Not now Igneasha, lay down next to your sister"
"But mom!"
"shhh, you'll wake your sister, now, lay, down."
With a huff young girl laid back and her mother began to sing,
"Hush, little baby, don't say a word.
mama's gonna buy you a mockingbird
And if that mockingbird won't sing,
mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring
And if that diamond ring turns brass,
mama's gonna buy you a looking glass
And if that looking glass gets broke,
mama's gonna buy you a billy goat
And if that billy goat won't pull,
mama's gonna buy you a cart and bull
And if that cart and bull turn over,
mama's gonna buy you a dog named Rover
And if that dog named Rover won't bark
mama's gonna buy you a horse and cart
And if that horse and cart fall down,
You'll still be the sweetest little baby in town."
The young woman smiles down at her two children as they sleep picking up her wand she heads out the door wondering just what their reaction will be when they learn the truth of how she and their father met, not to mention her parents! She deactivates her lumenos spell "if the past is any indicator of the future," she chuckles darkly, "This is going to be one wild ride."
