Ash woke up and strolled out of bed. He got down to the table and yawned lazily and fell back to sleep by accident, his face landing in his cereal bowl. He woke up again and wiped the milk from his face.

"Ash Ketchum!" His mother, Delilah, scolded him. "What were you doing last night?"

"You should NEVER had bought me that Sony Time Crisis bundle." Ash replied.

"You were up all night playing Time Crisis 2?"

"Yes..." Ash said, finishing up his breakfast. He went back upstairs, dressing up into a black T shirt, and blue jeans. He left his baseball cap off for some unknown reason and strolled outside. He decided to head over to Professor Oak's place. He strolled up to the door and knocked. The doors opened mechanically. "Professor?" He called. He stepped inside cautiously. "Professor?" He called out again. He entered the living room where Brock was sitting on the couch, a serious look on his face. Then in came the professor.

"Ash, sit down. There is something we need to discuss."

"Why? What's going on?"

"Ash, have you heard of NeoDyne Industries?"

"The name sort of rings a bell." Ash replied. He sat down across from Brock.

"They made a commercial last night. I taped it over so you could see it." The professor said. "If it weren't for my The Cheat-like VHS reflexes it probably would have been as lost as four armed Grimace." Ash and Brock laughed. Both directed their attention to the TV. Giovanni, the former leader of Team Rocket, stood in front of what looked like a launching pad.

"At NeoDyne Industries, LTD, we have succsessfully completed a global network consisting of 64 satelittes! The project is named, "StarLine Network". This is a monumental acheivement."

"Heah, right?" Ash commented.

"StarLine will unite the world!" And with that, the NeoDyne Industries logo flashed on the screen.

"I don't think so." said Brock.

"What are you talking about, Brock?" Ash asked.

"The StarLine Network is a mere front for a plan to launch a neuclear satelitte into space. We at VSSE have decided to send you two to prevent the launch." The professor explained. Ash stared at him. He had no weapons training whatsoever except for playing Time Crisis. The Professor handed them each a backpack filled with ammunition and a .44 Magnum handgun. "I have a fearow outside waiting to take you to Celadon, one of NeoDyne's opperatives it there. Both nodded and went out back, hopped aboard the Fearow and flew off to Celadon City.

Not long after, the professor's phone began to ring. When he answered, he could hear Misty's voice through the receiver. "It's me, Misty. I found some data on the satelitte network. Haven't the agents left yet?"

"Ash and Brock are on their way." The professor replied. Misty stared at the receiver as though it were possesed.

"Ash and Brock..."
