'Although he always tortured me and the people, who are close to me, he wasn't such a bad person', Ryou thought to himself, sitting on his bed. 'And now, after the Millennium Ring has been stolen, I realize how much I need him'. He always protected me, even if he didn't attend to. He stood up and went over to the large window in his bedroom. It was raining very hard outside and therefore, there was only a little bit of light coming through the window.
Ryou sighed. He felt very lonely ever since his mother and sister died in a car accident on Christmas eve 10 years ago. His father had to go on business trips all the time, so he was alone mostly. When his father returned home every 8 to 10 months, he didn't care much for Ryou, so Ryou didn't care for him either. There weren't much people, who he cared for, but one of them was Bakura. He was the only person, who he would call a real friend. Even if Bakura didn't feel the same way about him... at least Ryou thought so but he couldn't know for sure because Bakura never shared any feelings or emotions with him.
Ryou thought for a moment and decided to go outside. It was still raining, so he grabbed his umbrella, went outside and opened it. He started walking slowly towards the park. It was getting dark, but he continued walking. Bakura always told him not to be afraid of a little bit of darkness. He came to a bench and sat down. But he still feared the darkness and the scary noises, that came from the empty park, especially without Bakura protecting him.
"Ha, Bakura would laugh at me, if he would see me like this, shivering with fear and being afraid of a little bit of darkness and a few noises. Instead, I should be looking for him. Who knows where he is and what is happening to him." Ryou said, "I feel so bad about myself. If only I would have been more careful, then none of this would be happening and we would sit here together, him talking about what a scardycat I am, and me listening and being glad to have a friend like him." He sighed, stood up again and reached to his chest, only to realize, that the Millennium Ring was still gone. "I hope I will succeed in finding him soon". He started walking home.
