All of the characters are from Sun Town, my New Leaf game. Jessy, Sponge, and Penny are my three villagers. This chapter is in Jessy's POV. Look in the top left corner every line break to see which villager\OC it's switched to.
Jessy
It's raining again. It's been so long since I've seen the sun, and felt its warmth. I long for the day when I can wear my HRA t-shirt, and spend long hours outside, finding the perfect spot to plant my apple trees. Maybe even visiting the island. My breath catches in my throat when I think of Cap'n and his sweet little family. The whole place is probably flooded, so they're either dead or stranded. They can swim, can't they? I sigh, and switch my gaze to the window. Thunder bangs. Lightning cracks, and the Sun Lamp on my wall flickers out. I heave myself up, directing my exhausted body to the table where Isabelle's lantern sits. I feel like I haven't moved in days. Maybe that's true. I can't tell anymore.
Isabelle
"It's raining again…" Isabelle thinks. She glances out the office window and watches the steady downpour. The sky is dark, and it's foggy out, as if it isn't already hard enough to see. The small dog wonders about Sun Town's Mayor, and if she's planning on a solution. Not like there could possibly be one. The ground is too soggy to possibly set foot in, and Diva and her house have been pulled under in the sink hole starting in the South West area of the small village. "That's close to Miss Mayor's home…" Isabelle murrmurrs. She closes her weary eyes, allowing a few tears to slip out. "My new life here was supposed to be perfect…"
