"Daddy!" Emme yelled as she ran into the house, bringing the contagious laughter of her three year old self.
"Don't you dare come any further until I get a kiss and you take off those wet boots."
"Daddy," She admonished placing her hands on her hips a pout forming on her lips,
"How do I give you a kiss if I can't come there?"
"I think that's solvable." Her daddy stated as he came forward and picked her up.
Emme's mom looked on with a measure of tenderness at the scene of her daughter and her husband. Who promptly walked toward her, with Emme tucked on his hip, to place a light kiss on her lips. "How was your day, Sarah?"
"Long, I'm glad it's over."
"Why don't you go upstairs and change your clothes. Dinner is almost ready."
"Okay," she conceded, "but come back here first. I'd like another kiss."
"Mommy," Emme interrupted, "You forgot to say please."
"Okay, Emme. Can I have another kiss, please."
"Anytime." Harm said before placing another kiss on her lips.
