He knew she was out and on the prowl two blocks before he actually reached her hiding spot. He could smell her scent. Unlike all the other women both Bruce Wayne and Batman knew, Selina Kyle didn't bother with perfumes when she let her Catwoman out to play. Her own, natural aroma was far more alluring than anything that could be bought on the market or off. It was also purrfectly feline, hinted of the jungle, and was completely right for the Catwoman.
In addition to all its other attributes, Catwoman's scent had the uncanny ability to drive Batman wild. He followed it through the blocks that separated them as she moved off in the opposite direction in, he hoped, search of him. He was glad it was a slow night and that, for a change, most of his worse enemies were already locked up in Arkham and had not yet managed to break free. Of course, that meant he only had another one or two nights before a major asylum break, but he would make those nights last and be the best he could.
He rounded the corner and let her take him by apparent surprise. Her whip snapped through the night air and snagged him around his neck. Acting the part she expected, he exclaimed, "Catwoman!"
Her deep, throaty purr immediately made him hard. "That's my name," she teased, slinking forth from the shadows that were as much a part of her as they were of him, "don't wear it out unless you want to scrrream it in pleasurrre."
A rare smile curved his lips. "Maybe I do."
"Good." Still purring, she swooped down onto him. Her legs wrapped around his strong body; her claws ran lightly down his uniformed chest. Her tail whipped about in the silver light of the full moon. "Because I want to play."
He leaned forward and caught her by true surprise as his lips touched upon hers. Her mouth opened with a purr underneath his, and their tongues slid together. She wasn't the only one who wanted to play. Tonight, Batman wanted to play, too, and play he would while he could, always hoping, but knowing, their time together would never last long enough to satisfy either of them. He could always catch her again, however, he thought, smiling coyly around her hot and ready mouth, or allow her to catch him.
The End
