A/N: I've been meaning to write something new for a while

A/N: I've been meaning to write something new for a while. This is just a drabble idea I got while I was skipping out on block-schedule day at school. I heard the song "I Love You Too Much" by Steve Earle and the bunny hit me like a train. So I hope you enjoy it.

Disclaimer: I don't own FMA, but I sure as hell will write it the way I want it. Flame me and I will destroy you.

I Love You Too Much

By: Rachel L. Sloan

The blonde lay in his bed next to the older man. The sun was leaking through the blinds and onto the white of the bed. Ed reached over and gently stroked Roy's hair. God, just touching the other man made him smile. It warmed him inside.

Now matter how much Roy had ever tried to hide it, Ed could see right through that uniform and smirk. He saw right through to the sweet being hidden behind the military man façade.

Edward ran his flesh hand over the soft skin of the older man's chest. His smile broadened as he felt the man breathing. He could feel Roy's heartbeat too, and the warmth of his skin.

The phrase "There can never be too much of a good thing" played over again in the blonde's head. It was true. Ed knew he would never get enough of Mustang. These were the moments he lived for. There was no such thing as to much love.

The Colonel's eyes flickered open to see his love smiling down at him. A smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

"Good morning beautiful? What are you thinking about that's got you in such a pleasant mood?" Roy asked.

"I love you too much." Ed said in a small voice.

"No you don't," Roy replied pushing himself up a little to kiss Ed. "You love me way too much."
