It doesn't matter if you're the strongest in the flock, if you've hit the power jack-pot at an early age or if you're the youngest and cutest or if you were the first one to breathe under water. Your motive to rule you team and show everyone your real strength and power has corrupted your innocence and sent the flock the wrong message, or is it the right one? You are no longer trusted in your own family. It doesn't matter if you're cute and small and strong, and it doesn't matter that you think bambi eyes will take you anywhere, because deep down you're still that same little girl inside who seemed to die at the age of six, and even you know that those were the most fragile six years that you can never get back.

It doesn't matter if you're the leader f your flock or if every member puts their full trust in you. It doesn't matter how much you ignore your second in command, because deep down you know he stole your heart. It doesn't matter if your purpose in life is to save the world, your decisions are overruled by emotion and your stability has fallen since the love of your life left you. It doesn't matter what a strong leader you were to begin with, because now he's gone and you know that half your heart and leadership has gone with him.

It doesn't matter if you're the silent, dark sexy cover that everyone sees, it doesn't matter that you've developed a mask of disinterest or that you've mastered the arts of stealth, speed and silence. Because of your actions the leader of the flock is broken and unless you do something about it, the whole flock will break with her. It doesn't matter anymore that everyone sees you as unemotional because deep inside, under the solid exterior, is a broken boy longing for the girl of his dreams. You don't care that you thought leaving her was the right thing to do, because now all you want is to have her back in your arms, to say three words no one ever knew existed in your mind. It doesn't matter if you're the strongest man in the family, because deep down, when you see her face only one poem fights its way onto your tongue pleading to be heard by her ears: "Roses are red, violets are blue, our hearts are broken, but I still love you..."

It doesn't matter if you're drop dead gorgeous, if you're her 'perfect match', it doesn't matter if she's the only girl you dream of day and night. It doesn't matter if you shower her with compliments and sensitivity, because she loves someone else and doesn't give a damn about you. It doesn't matter if you were born to believe she was always going to be yours, because you're just an experiment grown in a laboratory, everything you say and think is programmed, everything you feel is an illusion. It doesn't matter if you think you love her, because deep down you know the love you feel is fake, deep down you know she can never really love you back.
