Knuckles' most precious
"Get outta my way!" he yelled while running past his friend "I'm so gonna kill him!".
Sonic sighed and crossed his arms while leaning back against the wall:
"Knuckles, you shouldn't be so angry because of small things like that! Leave him alone. I'm sure he knows what he did wasn't that nice. And he'll pay for a new chocolate bar..."
Of course Knuckles was too far away to hear anything his blue friend said. And of course Sonic knew this and also was aware of the fact that the red hothead wouldn't take him serious even if he heared it.
"Silver, come here!" Knuckles screamed as he saw a hedgehog with silver-white fur in front of him. Silver's eyes widened: "I better try getting away from here. Fast!".
He took a bite of the chocolate he had just stolen before starting to run away.
"Don't even try to escape! I won't let you!".
Silver squealed silently as he noticed how angry had made Knuckles with the theft. All he wanted was his favorite chocolate which was currently sold out at their local shop... and now he had to be afraid of never being able to eat any chocolate anymore. He swallowed and stopped running. Instead he turned around, facing the angry echidna who was still running towards him full speed.
"What the-!" Knuckles tried to brake down immediately but accidentally tripped as he did so. "At least I didn't hit the ground..." he sighed and faced the hedgehog in front of him who... started to giggle.
"S-sorry!" Silver managed to say before holding a hand in front of his mouth, thinking: "This looked so ridiculous!".
"..." Knuckles clenched his fists and fetched his teeth: "First you're stealing MY chocolate and now you're laughing at me!"
Silver stopped the giggling this very second noticing he had made the red echidna even more mad than he had been before: "Look, Knuckles, I'm sorry... I'll buy you new chocolate when it's available again. I just couldn't hold myself back because I love this watermelon flavoured chocolate!"
What happened next was something Silver didn't expect at all: Knuckles was smiling widely!
"...is he smiling because I have the same taste in chocolate as he does?" Silver smiled back innocently. He never wanted to admit it but he liked that Knuckles and himself had some things in common.
"Did you just say this chocolate is sold out?" the echidna was now glaring at him. Silver swallowed, noticing Knuckles had just faked a smile because he was really angry. Some flames that were forming around Knuckles just proved that he was right.
"Look, I-I'm really sorry!" Silver fidget with his hands: "I mean it!"
"Do you have at least one piece of it left?" Knuckles asked coldly.
The silver hedgehog knew the truth would cause him a hard time so he did the only thing he was able to do right now: Running!
"Woah, wait! I'll so knock you down!" Knuckles yelled as he started to run after Silver again.
Shadow rubbed his head while looking out of the window: "Why do they have to be so loud all the time? They really should get a room already! ... but that's none of my business!".
Shadow shrugged and went to the kitchen. He so needed a lot of his beloved watermelon flavoured chocolate he had bought earlier this morning.
