The Many Faces of Exorcists

I don't know what drove me to actually post this but originally it was my homework for survey lit.

Disclaimer: I do not own D. Gray Man or any of the characters' sorrowful life. If I did then I would be ashamed of myself to write such a sad yet beautiful manga.

Face 1:

Waning Moon

The waning moon, covered by overwhelming clouds,

Plunged the world into darkness.

Snow drifted slowly and softly onto the cold dirt.

The night hung with sorrow and death.

On a hill, lie a tree and a lonely grave;

A child, alone, lay against the coldness of the grave.

Life held still for the child.

The child's gray eyes were dull and pained.

Life was cruel as it has always been.

It had taken away the child's warmth,

The only warmth he had ever known, was gone.

The person that had gave him a life full of

Happiness, hardship, and

Most of all hope was gone.

That person was his light in the darkness

But it was gone.

The devil was laughing at him.

The light was covered by darkness

Like the moon covered by clouds in the night sky.

"Live your life to the fullest." A voice echoed in his mind.

The child's head looked up

To see the moon shining brightly once again,

No matter where it went.

The child reached out to the hand in front of him and took it,

Giving a bright and innocent smile

To the person that stood before him.

And with that smile it could

Scare away the darkness

And brighten the moon even more.

I'm not even bothering to tell you who this is. Look at it anyway you people want. I'm not even sure if it's a poem or some kind writing.
