Reba sighed. A tear ran down her cheek. I can't do this anymore, she thought to herself. She was tired. She wasn't strong anymore.
Reba shook her head to clear her thoughts. 'It's better this way,' she told herself. She just couldn't face the pain anymore. It was too much.
'I'll do it tonight,' she decided. She sat at the kitchen table to write a goodbye note to everyone she loved. She started with Cheyenne, then Kyra, then Jake, then Elizabeth, then Brock, then BJ and finally Henry. On the envelopes for Elizabeth and Henry she instructed Brock and Cheyenne to give it to them when they were fifteen.
Reba heard a knock on the door. She went to answer it. It was Brock. "Reba what's wrong," he asked. She just put on an innocent look and asked him what made him think anything was wrong.
"Reba come on. I have known you since we were sixteen and I know the look in your eyes."
"The 'look in my eyes,'" she asked playing dumb.

"Reba," he said gently, "I know the feeling. I've been where you are now"
"It's like my whole life is falling apart," Reba sobbed as Brock took her in his arms. He held her for what seemed like forever.
"Reba," he said, "I am so sorry for anything that I did that cause this"
"It wasn't you," she said, "if anything I should have been able to hold it together"
Brock looked up and down at her.
"No," he said slowly, "I don't see it"
"See what?"
"The sign?"
"What sign?"
"The one that says Hello, my name is GOD."
"What," Reba said, "I'm not GOD
"Exactly. Reba you have been holding everything and everyone together since as long as I can remember. But you're not GOD. You're human"
"Do you have any idea," Reba asked, "what I've been going through?"
"Yes I do," Brock said, "remember it's happened to me before"
"But you're stronger then I am"
"Reba," he said, "I'm not stronger. You just hold it in"
Just then the kids walked in.
"Mom, what's wrong," a very concerned Kyra asked
"You're mom's just going through a tough time," Brock explained, "but we're going to get her through this"
Elizabeth came over to Reba and wrapped her arms around Reba
"There there grandma it'll be okay"
And at that moment Reba knew it would be
