Blaine Warbler Hummel-Anderson
It was a Tuesday evening and Blaine was getting in from work late, all he wanted was to rest in the arms of his amazing husband. He walked into an empty home. He had forgotten about Kurt's book club Tuesday nights. And the kids both had dance practice, which Kurt picked them up from. He decided to just skip dinner and head off to bed. When he got to their room he saw a piece of paper on their bed folded in half with his name written on top, he opened it;
My one and only love;
Bold – in everything you do you always approach it head first
Loyal – we've been together for 27 years and you have remained faithful
Adorable – because no matter how mad I am at you, I could never deny you anything
Indescribable – If I tried to describe you to someone, there would not be enough words
Nifty – because you're a dork, but I still love you!
Elegant – you know the time and place for fun and the time to be professional
Wicked – you always have surprises up your sleeve
Amazing – you changed my life for the better, in more ways than one
Respectful – when I need space you always give it too me, no questions asked
Bodacious – even at age 43 you still turn me on and make me a hormonal teenager
Legendary – making me and our two daughters so proud of you for everything you do
Ebullient – always ready to get up and go (and drag my lazy ass with you)
Real – the realest man I know
Humble – you are always willing to help without asking for anything in return
Unique – I have never met anyone like you, because you are one in a million
Masculine – you defeat the gay stereotype every single day
Modest – to this day I still doubt you know how fabulous you truly are
Extraordinary - because sometimes ordinary doesn't begin to cover it
Lively – despite your age, you still act like a teenager (jumping on furniture)
Astounding – my hero, always protecting me even when I don't need protecting
Nice – you have a heart of gold that you wear on your sleeve
Dream – my teenage dream to be exact
Elaborate – never going simple and always going big or going home
Ready for round two – do I even need to explain this one?
Sweet – you once said "I'm not very good with romance" that was a lie
Original – the first Blaine Hummel-Anderson
Noteworthy – because no matter how much I mention you it will never be enough
By the time Blaine finished reading the poem he had tears in his eyes, maybe he would wait up for Kurt anyway.
