I wrote this in grade ten...*looks at watch* which was just over three
years ago...wow how time flies...anyways I found it today when I was going
through a bunch of papers buried under my desk and thought to myself Self,
why don't you type this bad boy up and post it? So I did...I know ff.net
doesn't host original works...so for arguments sake lets just say that this
is Ryou's POV...so on with the show...I present to you A Hot Bath
A Hot Bath
I am an ice cube floating in a tub of boiling water. I melt as soon as I step in. The day's challenges and problems dissolve like bath salts in water. My thoughts are clouds floating in a vast blue sky; the different thought shapes seem smaller and easier to handle in the bath. The hot water hugs me tight, a warm blanket during a cold winter night. Every time I move a new wave of warm emotions wash over me, and I feel deeply relaxed, and my problems find solutions as they swim in their blue sky. The water wraps her fingers in my hair and the tension from the big math test drifts in a sea of calm tranquility. The constant drip of the water faucet becomes a relaxing rhyme. When I close my eyes a comforting darkness engulfs me, and my cloud thoughts change into characters and re-enact the book I was reading last night. I move to bring on another wave of warm emotions, but instead of a blanket of warmth, I feel as though I jumped in the Artic Ocean. My warm, cozy, hiding place became a cold, wet hole. I get out and pull the plug, my tension, problems and negative thoughts scream as they go down the drain. I always feel better after a hot bath.
Well, thanks for reading, if you liked drop a review, if not do whatever you like...later days -hino
