William, Billy for short, Elliot lay back next to his friend, and thought about what he'd just said. Michael Caffrey, Billy's best friend who was wearing his sister's blue dress and lipstick, had just told Billy that he shouldn't go to the Royal Ballet School because He'd miss him. What made Billy more uncertain of his friend's sexuality was that Michael had also pointed out that he thought Billy would look wicked in a tutu. "Michael, do you fancy me like?" Billy had, in the meantime, sat up and was looking as his friend with great interest. "Why do you think that?" Billy noticed that his friend's cheeks were now tinged pink, "Michael, you're wearing a dress." Billy noticed more redness in the cheek area. Billy decided to continue. "And you've been acting real odd since I started doin' me ballet" Michael seemed to find his sister's shoes very interesting and sighed. "Billy, it ain't the ballet. I felt like this since before the ballet. Sorry." Billy continued to look at Michael with assumed fascination. "How long before the ballet?" Michael swallowed heavily, "Just after you started boxing..." Billy nodded slowly, and put a hand under Michael's chin, turning his friend to face him "You mean you fancied me since I started boxing?" Billy stared into Michael's sea green eyes and didn't even realise what he was saying when he uttered a quiet "Then I suppose I have no choice but to do this." and pulled his friends lips to his own using the hand placed on his chin.
