Sparrow and Stripes

Cameron Hastings stared out the window as the snow gracefully fell upon the Slifer dorms. His warm brown-black eyes filled with a child-like wonder as he spotted the Obelisk Princess walking outside with Tyra Hassleberry. Her long blonde hair flowed behind her as her violet eyes with gypsy green and amethyst eyes closed while she laughed. She was wearing a dark blue zip up snow jacket with white snow pants and black snow boots. Cameron stared at her and blushed.

"Asoriya..." he whispered.

For months now, ever since that fateful day that he had dueled her for the very first time, Cameron had fallen madly in love with the young half-witch. Her Sister of Fate, Zeldan, and her had warned Antaria and Tara about the Angels of Death. A horrible clan that preyed on the Children of Antaria. Cameron laughed when Asoriya and Tyra started a snowball fight and Asoriya tackled her best friend.

"I long to tell thee, oh fair princess."

"Reciting for your next attempt to get a date?" chuckled a voice and Cameron turned around. "Hiya, Stripes."

"Oh, hi Akimaru." Cameron replied. "No... I'm just thinking about Asoriya."

"And stalking her..." muttered Akimaru, he ran a hand through his dark brown and blue streaked hair.

"I am not!" Cameron exclaimed.

Akimaru rolled his eyes, "Just like you didn't exclaim to Ashton that his mom looked hot in that music video."

"I was hyper!" Cameron cried in defense.

"Whatever. Just listen to me, if you can." Akimaru replied. "Asoriya's pretty cute... so... if you don't make your move NOW, someone else will."

"Like who?" Cameron dared to ask.

"Oh, I dunno. Maybe Vento?" Akimaru said sarcastically.

"Okay, okay... I'll go tell her." Cameron sighed.

Akimaru patted him on the back, "Good boy! Now go get her!"

Cameron pulled on his Slifer blazer over his black sweater before slipping on his sneakers. He stared at the hundreds of Ramen packets, that belonged to his roommate Saix, and sweatdropped. He looked out the window to see Tyra bidding Asoriya goodbye and took a deep breath.

"Yo! Asoriya!" Cameron cried, the blonde Obelisk turned around.

"Oh, hi Cameron!" Asoriya Sparrow said brightly.

"Um... I have to talk to you... it's important." Cameron began.

Asoriya nodded, "Okay. Let's take a walk too. I love the snow..."

They began to walk side-by-side throw the white snowflakes and towards DA's Main Building. Cameron took another calming breath.

"So, what do you wanna talk about?" Asoriya asked.

"Asoriya... for the longest time now... I've..." Cameron stopped to clear his throat.

Asoriya smirked, "It's okay, I know."

"Y-You do?!" Cameron exclaimed.

Asoriya giggled, "Yep..." She stood on tiptoe 'til her lips were level with his. Her violet eyes glowing. She spoke in a gentle whisper, "And I feel the same."

She pressed her lips against his in a quick kiss. Cameron turned pink, but smiled.

"Asoriya..." Cameron whispered.

"Merry Christmas." Asoriya said simply before walking away, her hands behind her back, humming to herself.

Sparrow and Stripes... a perfect combination...
