Before endless tutoring sessions, private lessons and stacks of books ceiling high there was just Hoshi and her grandfather. Where they'd spend Sunday mornings sitting next to each other on the soft plush couch, her head resting on his shoulder just enjoying the stillness of the quiet that spoke everything. He knew how gifted his grandchild was, felt the great potential in every move she made and was proud. She simply enjoyed the fact he never pushed her to study harder, never quizzed her on lessons, or ask her to beat an already incredible test score, just being was enough.
