Prologue, 2001
The Tipton Hotel stood in all its mighty glory as a young London Tipton stood on its steps. She was waiting for her sister, Allison, to come visit her. Allison was a year older than London at 8, but the two hardly knew the fact as they were almost as inseparable as twins. Allison, or Alli, had been staying in Wisconsin with a nurse maid, Georgia, while going to school. Mr. Tipton wanted the best for his girls, so he sent one of them to the finest school in Wisconsin. As the limo pulled up, London bounced on her toes in excitement. The chauffer opened the door and let a girl of nine with chocolate brown hair and eyes step out. Once again the sisters were reunited, but not for long. On Allison's 10th birthday, she was taken and held for ransom, breaking her little sister's heart. Allison was soon reported as dead, never to be found again. Unbeknownst to any, she had simply acquired a head injury, blocking memories and people from the past. During this time, she grew up as Allison Monroe, a simple girl from Wisconsin who went by Sonny, and got her dream.
