Hey everyone! This is my first ever story! WOOHOO! Now I know it's not the greatest or longest thing you've ever seen, but give it a chance? Please?

It was twilight, the sky giving off an unusual mix of reds, oranges, and pinks. A lone figure sat atop a giant T shaped structure glancing out over the water which surrounded her home, something akin to longing showing in her eyes. The figure heaved a sigh as the final wisps of light settled over the horizon. As the night drew near the female began to rise to head inside, but before she could even take a step she felt another's presence besides her own.
She hesitated as the voice of her intruder cut through the silence.
"I'm sorry."
That surprised her although she would never admit it. Slowly she turned glancing over her shoulder at her companion.
"What?"
There was a slight hesitation within the man across from her. "I'm sorry."
She fully turned to the man curiosity burning in her amethyst her eyes. "Why are you apologizing?"
The black clad man turned his masked face toward the sea. "I know what it feels like to be alone."
She stared at the man for a moment or two more before turning back toward the door leading to the stairs. "How would a mere thief know of feelings such as these?"
He glanced back at her, began making his way toward her. This action didn't go unnoticed as the lavender haired women turned to his approaching figure looking defiant.
"I know more than you think" said the black clad man as he reached up to his mask. Before she could show her opposition to his actions he had ripped it off. Amethyst met coal as the man leaned down and stole his most prized possession yet; a kiss from the emotionless sorceress.
At this the lavender haired women was struck speechless, her wide, glowing eyes staring confused into those of her counterpart. Before she could even react he had pulled away, pulled on his mask and teleported leaving only his words hanging in the air.
"You are never alone."
