1. Fingers.
Noise Marie smiled a little when he saw his teammates crying, both of them were very gentle, and that was why he tried to alleviate some of that baseless guilt.
"Two fingers are nothing, but thanks for worry" he told them.
Krory and Miranda cried for a little more, while Marie did his best to calm them. He observed with affection how they started to stop crying. Yes, indeed. Arystar Krory and Miranda Lotto were very kind, and that was why Marie tried his best to protect them.
They were exorcists like him, but he could do what he hadn't with Daisya and Yuu; he would watch out for them nearer and more, much more of how Kanda could possibly allow, more than he did with Daisya. Because the kind of people that Krory and Miranda was the weakest in their force; they tended to worry too much and blame themselves when it was not their responsibility.
Like Allen, but he was just as Kanda, he wouldn't allow to protect him. Though, Marie would try to protect and help any of his teammates whenever they needed him.
2. Time.
When you didn't possess the ability to fight, you tried your hardest protecting. That was her job, which was what her innocence did…what God decided for her.
But seeing her teammates hurt was so painful, because even if she alleviated some of the pain when fighting, they came more broken at the last, when she had to lift the temporary state. At some corner of her brain she hated a little her power; she hated that she couldn't defend herself and others had to do it instead, risking their life.
"Don't blame yourself, Miranda" Krory told her, "I felt the same"
Miranda nodded and prayed for more power, she didn't want innocence if she couldn't protect her friends.
"Yes"
3. Bite.
They said that Parasitic Innocence decrease your lifetime, sounds logic when the user could receive Akuma venom and just came a little worse to wear. But he disliked the ability, the power of survive when a lot of his friend didn't have it; when they couldn't be careless for any second, and he couldn't be there to protect them.
When he couldn't bite and extract that cursed venom.
He knew that some of his friends were more powerful than he was, but it didn't kill his want to be there next to them, they were younger than him… he felt like if he had siblings.
So he understood Marie's protectiveness and Miranda's frenzy for the wellbeing of her friends. Because for good or bad they have been in this Earth for more time, secluded or unfortunate, they've seen more.
No matter how read, angry, gentlemen or kind they were. Probably for them, they would be always there little brothers and sister.
