Duty Calls
Oh God.
Ayane had seen this coming; she recognised the signs. Unfortunately, no one else did. The poor kids…
Scarred for life now, no doubt about it.
And they still had a few years left with this guy? She sighed, all the while praying for their safety.
Only inwardly though.
The young woman watched Pin through almost confused eyes, one eyebrow raising at his antics, all the while daring him to come closer. Thank goodness his attention hadn't been drawn to her yet.
Who had taught him to celebrate victory like that? It was plain terrifying. All that shouting and laughing and pointing and general big-headedness…Exactly what she disliked most in his character.
Don't even get me started on his clothes…
Ayane sighed again, deciding to put an end to this. Ignoring common curtsey, she slid the door open and stood in the door way, arms folded. Her left hand tapped impatiently on her right arm, held in the other hand was the reason she was here.
"Uhh, sensei?" A student on the front row gestured to her, the red headed male turning.
"Why are you standing there?" Pin asked rather rudely; she scowled, throwing the bag at his chest.
"Were you planning on skipping lunch today?" she ignored his question, asking one of her own. "That isn't healthy. You of all people should know that, being an athletics teacher."
"Of course I know that!" His chest puffed indignantly. "I'm not an idiot!"
She smiled, breaking out into a quiet giggle when he glared at her. Pin really was rather childish.
"Such a hand full," she commented dryly, shifting so she was half in the hallway. "And besides, I know you're not an idiot. I am."
This revelation seemed to shock the man, who took a second out of glaring to gape at Ayane before guffawing, "Well obviously, because I'm the greatest and smartest guy in the world!"
She rolled her eyes. "This is the reason I'm an idiot. I said 'yes' to you," she said primly, stepping out of the classroom and shutting the door.

.
"Wait…What do you mean by that? Hey, Ayane, explain what's so bad about having the world's greatest and smartest guy as a boyfriend!"
…Very little, surprisingly.

Only a drabble I wrote in about five minutes so very little detail [it was pretty difficult to come up with a title too] ^_^'' Still, I quite like it.
I hope these two hook up in the manga…
