Summary: Bad Wolf, Torchwood, Mr Saxon. What will the thread for Series Four be? SPOILERS!
Disclaimer: Doctor Who belongs to the BBC.
Author's Note: A little something I thought of this morning. I'm using scenarios from Series Four, plus one of my own. By the way, I haven't posted in a couple of days because MY INTERNET WAS DOWN! It was hell! But it's fixed now :)
A Not So Subtle Story Thread
"Hurry Donna, we've got to get back to the TARDIS!" cried the Doctor as they ran away from the volcano.
"But Doctor, look," said Donna, who was standing next to the wall of a building. "There's an inscription." The Doctor ran over to the wall and out on his glasses.
"Look at that," he remarked. " 'She is coming'."
"What do you think it means?" asked Donna. The Doctor scratched his head.
"A prophecy about Vesuvius?" he guessed. "There were a few people who took the earthquakes, the sulphur and the extremely fertile soil and put them together. Maybe they wanted to warn everyone. Which reminds me…" He grabbed Donna's hand as they ran away from the oncoming surge.

"Did you see the way I kicked that Sontaran's arse?" said Donna as she, Martha and the Doctor walked back to the TARDIS. Martha rolled her eyes.
"Sure, and I suppose we did nothing," she said sarcastically. The Doctor laughed.
"Now Martha, Donna deserves some credit," he said. "If it wasn't for her and her atomic slap, we'd all be dead meat. I haven't seen a slap like that since…" He trailed off. "Never mind." Martha and Donna exchanged glances. Just then, they approached the TARDIS, and were stunned to find a cardboard box in front of it.
"What the…" muttered the Doctor as he picked up the box. He shook it around, then finally opened it. Inside there was a beautiful blood red rose.
"How about that," he said. "I must have a secret admirer!"

"It was good to see you again Doctor," said Shakespeare, shaking the Doctor's hand.
"You too will," replied the Doctor. "And good luck with that new play. Something tells me it's going to be a hit."
"Don't spoil it for me," said Shakespeare. "Oh, and Doctor?"
"Yes?" said the Doctor. Shakespeare stared at the Doctor as if in a trance.
"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet," he recited. The Doctor slowly nodded his head.
"Yes, so it would," he said. "Okay, see ya."

"Thank you so much for saving our planet," the Ood said to the Doctor.
"My pleasure," said the Doctor. "Hey, next time you see the Sensorites, say hello for me. I'm an old friend of theirs."
"As you wish," said the Ood. The Doctor smiled and waved.
"Okay, goodbye!" he said. The Ood's translator lit up.
"Rose Tyler is coming back to be with you," it said matter-of-factly.
"Excuse me?" said the Doctor. The Ood adjusted its translator.
"Apologies," it said. "I said, I hope you have a safe journey." The Doctor raised an eyebrow.

"You don't look that surprised to see me Doctor," commented Rose. "Did you know this was going to happen?"
"Oh, I had an inkling," said the Doctor.
